yes sudhir. You are right. I hope they don't announce discount schemes now and then and ruin the image of the car. This might look like a smaller sibling of the Civic. Like a concept car.

Thanks Samit, Shrinivas, Aniket, shaarika, rocky, raj, ajay, yashodhan. The thing is we see improvements all over. Everything seems to been fixed. Tata have taken stock of all the problems and rectified it, not on the V2, but by introducing a totally new and cool car.

Samit- Tata vehicles are always known for their mileage. Maybe it should only be better, as the Swift's engine powers the Vista. The 1.3 Multijet has won the International Engine of the year award. I hope your question is answered! ;)

Rocky- go for it. Maybe the only thing we aren't so sure about is the Maintenance part of it. I mean, the service stations. Pick the best one in your city (Tata boasts of 100's of dealers across India) so discuss with other Tata vehicle owners and pick your service outlet, OK?

Ajay Karthick- You are absolutely correct. But one thing is for certain. This car will change the way Indians perceive Tata Motors. The radical Indigo, the crossover and the Nano show so much mettle and hope they are similar in quality/pricing/handling and overall feel with the competitors in their segment.

the whole car is based on the Logan platform, much like the Fusion, which is based on the Fiesta Platform..maybe a small SUV under 5.5 lakhs is what's needed after all to revive that segment..
