Plus it has a system like the drive through window at the bank. You make your deposit and it slides up the chute and disappears. Well actually it just flips down into the bag. But it is cool.

You learn to do it longer than ever when emptying those things. We still use our Diaper Champ for pee diapers but for poodads, we wrap them in individual plastic bags.

Obviously you need to give your kid what you feel is good for your kid. This is true for everything: for every parent that feels Sesame Street is cool and educational for their 2 year old, there is a parent who says TV wil corrupt their child, make them fat, and Elmo will personally come and gouge their kid\'s eyes out at night.

As for Hyland\'s, it worked for us and I highly recommend them. After hearing that it has coffee beans? I still recommend them. Anyone else have a tried and true remedy?

Redhawk, in the beginning, I we were not able to accomplish so much. But after sticking to a routine and doing it over and over, the kids now know the drill and things move quicker.

With my daughter we decided to have the surprise. We had the green nursery, the yellow baby clothes and 2 sets of names. I wouldn\'t change it for the world. The moment I declared to my wife that we had a girl was one of my most memorable.

For my second kid we decided to find out and that too was very rewarding. (it was a boy)and it was nice being able to refer to the baby by his name.

Stay away from those fancy pottys that make noise when something falls into it.

Not only are they annoying, your kid will figure out that they can throw anything in there including sticking their head in to make the music play. Kind of defeats the purpose.

If you spread vaseline in the anus area and around the area, it will be easier for you next time. The poodad won\'t stick to it and it will be another line of defense against diaper rash.

We tried this with our first kid. Yes you do save money but the issue we had was it takes so damn long to do the up front. When you have a screaming baby, it\'s way easier to take a premixed, thawed, jar of baby food out of the pantry.

It\'s true. You can make a big deal out of everything but you can also put undo pressure on them to like everything and then get burned.

Last year, I took my, then 2 1/2 year old, to a Red Sox versus Athletics game in Oakland. \"My first Red Sox game with my daughter\" I thought. \"She will enjoy herself as much as I will enjoy myself\" I played up the sights, the history, the rules of the game in a way she could relate. And that lasted all of barely 1 inning. There is only so many hot dogs you can cram into a little kids mouth before she just reaches her breaking point. The result? Having to carry her around and occupy her for the next 5 innings. And my fear that I have scarred my little girl from Red Sox Nation forever. All because i rushed her initiation into the club. I won\'t make that mistake again. I will wait a few more years with my son.

Your boy will always go whenever he wants to. he\'s a guy after all :) The cold air sometimes triggers urination. A rare piece of trivia is that streakers tend to pee like racehorses while sitting in the ol\' paddy wagon after their run. That was totally unsubstantiated. Just thought I would make something up to feel like I\'m in the know.
Personally, I think the cloth is a little silly. You aren\'t covering up a dead body here. The thing needs to breathe. And I believe those who get hosed are those that change the diaper too early. let them do their thing, then you change them.

Knock on wood, I have not been sprayed once in my son\'s 14 month old life.

Mattdm, glad co-sleeping worked out for you. But what works for some does not work for others. For every Dr. Sears there will be someone who will come up with a study or research that says co-sleeping is bad.

The bottom line of being a noodad is you and your wife will be forced with hard decisions like these. If you play the safe choice, you do not co-sleep.

As for sacrifice, co-sleeping, IMHO, should not be one of them. I still stand by my opinion, that for the majority of co-sleeping families, it was started by an initial weakness by the parents.

As for in moderation I couldn\'t disagree with you more. Drinking beer and smoking are not even in the same league. Smoking in moderation is NOT good.

For us non-smokers, we aren\'t immune to the stench like you may be. Now imagine a helpless baby who can\'t walk out of the room?

The Baby Bjorn I have found is best because of quality and comfort. The others I have tried don\'t fit as well on me or my wife.

As for the foward facing, you can do that with the Baby Bjorn as well. This is done during the earlier years to prevent suffocation. Once the little kid can lift up their own head, you switch them around.

Skimp with them.
You\'re on vacation. Splurge a little. If you have more than one kid, having them split a $8 kid\'s meal is a big no-no. Because while one of them is enjoying their collectable Mickey cup, the other gets the shaft.

The solution? Buy the kid\'s meals for everyone. Sure $8 is rough for a kid but it sure beats the $12 adult chicken sandwich.And now your other kid gets a toy.

When we went last time, my wife, my 2 kids, and I split 3 kid\'s meals. Lunch cost enough to buy Madden 2007 but I sure enjoyed those chicken nuggets. Remember, you\'re on vacation! A little cholesterol never killed anyone in the Magic Kingdom.

But scraping your knees is an accident. Piercing ears is a conscious decision by the parents to afflict pain on their kids who have no say just for vanity reasons.

When our third is born in a couple of months, we will have 3 kids 2 years apart from each other.

I couldn\'t bear to think of taking a hiatus from diaper changing only to go back to wiping asses. Nor did I want to put away a crib and then put it back together.

But besides the selfish reasons, having kids close together in age gives them siblings that they can relate to. We know some people where they have younger siblings that are 10 years younger than them. There is no way having a younger sister being born when you are in 5th grade is going to be as tight as being in high school together.

We tried both with my daughter and even though the plastic potty made a regal trumpet sound when something fell in (a royal flush?) it was more a distraction than a help.

Eventually, we just went with the toilet. It made it easier to explain, \"Honey, daddy takes a dump in here, you should too.\"

The only thing to remember is you should put one of those kids seats on it first. The toilet bowl can be a very dangerous place, especially for little butts. One minute they can be sitting there, and the next thing you know, they are snorkeling in their own piss.

Ok. Here\'s how it goes ladies.

In almost each one of your cases, you mention allowing people to videotape the dress rehearsal. I\'m down with that. I just didn\'t have that option.

So first off, chill.

Secondly, I don\'t mind paying my monthly tuition to pay for your rent. I get it. You provide a service. I\'m totally into paying you to do it.

But that still doesn\'t excuse the piss poor quality of the videographer (in my particular situation). If these guys took 4 weeks to perfect their DVD, they need a different profession.

As for youTube, it is you, ignorant dance studio owner that is mistaken. There is such a thing as \"private\" videos on YouTube where only my family whom I give permission to can view them.

Thanks for the education. Let me offer this bit of news so you understand I am really not out to get you guys!

The issue for me is the money (For the DVD) versus what I received. NOT just the money. NOT just the fact that I couldn\'t videotape the dress rehearsal.

If studios are breaking even for the performance, ask for donations! I would gladly pay that after seeing the enjoyment
on my daughter\'s face every day after dance class.

I have shown more restraint than I should have not calling out the DVD production company by name. I\'m still waiting for their response to my complaints.

Thanks Provid. Your operation seems to be a way better product that the one my studio chose. Split screen action is a great solution which my video did not have. Also for the time to edit, add titles, master, and duplicate, the one I received had no titles, had no editing. It was one track, started at the beginning and stopped at the end.

Had no chapter headers, had no home menu, just set to autoplay. And in my case, we were not allowed to tape the dress rehearsal. Any chance you can send me your info so i can pass it along to my studio owner? email me at supernoo@noodad.com

$7 an hour for 2 kids is way too low by todays standards!

Most people say $10 an hour for the first kid. $2 an hour for each additional kid. My philosophy? Pay a little more than what the sitter is getting from everyone else. That way, when there is a big date night, the sitter will choose to sit for you over the other guy.

thanks for actually coming to a site that someone referred you to. Right away, that is something most guys would not do. Sorry to disappoint you with an informative article on taking your kids to swimming lessons.

The reality is if you are looking for a place to teach people how to shine shoes, throw a football, cheat at poker, or tie a bowtie you are definitely not in the right place.

The guys we want on this site are the ones that pay to have their shoes shined, know how to pwn at poker the real way (with sound strategy and pure pwnage), and would never ever wear a Poindexter bowtie. Teaching how to throw a football is something you should already know how to do and thus do not require our help to teach your kid.

Again, sorry Noodad.com did not live up to your expectations but quite frankly, we don\'t need your kind here.

Yeah BMoreDad I do kind of live in a Mayberry, however you do bring up a point I forgot to mention. If you do leave out candy, don\'t blow your whole stash at once: go back midway through and refill.

I think that if you are buying stuff for the first time it is wise to go BPA free. But for those who have had the stuff for a while, I may wait until a real governing body weighs in.

After all, i have followed the bandwagon of whether butter is good or bad for you and have spun myself around so many times that I don\'t even remember what the answer is.

Its always good to be cautious. But there is only so much worrying you can do these days.
