There is a line, he crossed it, he's paying for it. While Mathew has a point, I think the right call was made here. It's a fine line and a gut feeling thing. Freedom of speech is a right, and one worth protecting, but as a society we can't tolerate a point being made in such a way that does more harm than good.

We need more women in tech, we need more everyone in tech. It's about brains, savvy, guts and vision. I want my daughter to be just as accepted as I was.

Good thing you've got all the above in quantity

I'm thinking big picture here. It's almost a proof of concept. Like the first POP server at Urbana-Champange. A "wow look, it works... now you try", that's what excites me. I think this is the next, and inevitable, step in the evolution of microblogging as a communications tool.

I love how my post ties in with my favourite chocolate bar. Regardless, I also think Feedly and other similar services are fantastic, my only complaint is that they all are tied int GR. Yes, GR is the 800 lb gorilla, but I wish things were more open and flexible.

I live in FeedDemon and I'm no't likely to give it up. FeedDemon syncs with NewsGatorOnline ... so why not build hooks into that and Bloglines. Wouldn't that build a larger feed and information ecosystem?
