I hope you recover nicely. I had mine taken out when I was 18. Daddy said that after two years of braces, no way was I getting wisdom teeth and messing up all that work, so he yanked 'em out. I recovered OK but got an infection about a week later...ick! Take it VERY easy...don't over-do!

I wonder if I need to switch to Google Reader, then. I know a lot of my readers use stat counters, and I don't think that my looking at them in my Bloglines lets them know I've been there. I come here every day, but I don't know if you can tell unless I leave you a comment. On the other hand, I don't know if you're as obsessive about tracking as I am (I've had a couple of stalkers, so I'm a little weird like that)!

Ah, the 12-step program, eh? Since Blogger came up with their new "customizable" templates, I'm much more tempted, but I really like the big old hibiscus on mine...I'm pretty content to look at it for a while :)
I like playing with widgets in my sidebar. I finally discovered Yahoo Desktop Widgets. Most of them are useless, but I have Post-it notes and a Harry Potter countdown calendar and an Allrecipes.com recipe finder...wonderful! :)

I'm impressed....25 pounds! I think I'm finding what you're losing...that's why I'm on such a fitness kick lately. I got all the way up to 190 pounds once and didn't like it.

I have a good salsa recipe too, and I don't think it needs any cooking (it's been a while since I've made it so I'm fuzzy). The only problem I have with salsa is that it requires chips, and I try to limit my chip intake...I can get out of control with those babies fast!
I've been reading about your trip in the TG...I don't think I would have lasted long dealing with all the frustration that you did...I'm impressed!!

This reader enjoyed the preliminary experiences...I have never gotten to take a mission trip, and didn't realize the work and planning that goes into it...or the attention to local customs that is necessary. I've felt like I'm getting to enjoy the trip...without the work ;). It's good stuff :)

Rachael Ray was eating a muffaletta on one of her shows and it looked incredible...chopped olive spread. I finally got a chance to try it when I was in OKC this summer, and boy howdies...delicious!! You've made me want some now...and I'm parked in the bed, so it's not a good thing!! ;)

OK, I don't think it's goofy. We have a badge kit here (Discovery Kids, I think) that Santa brought one of the girls last year...and every now and then we get it out and have a BALL with it! I like it as much as the girls do. It's a cheap one, though, and doesn't do a great job...it's more for entertainment than anything else in this house! :)

This was definitely worth watching. I've been lazy about not voting in the past...but this made me put my thinking cap on. He's right...this election is not about the most tv-worthy candidate...it's about making our own choices as to who will be the next leader of our country.
And thank you for taking the time to send the transcript. I haven't ever heard his voice before, and he has a heavy accent that my electronics don't pick up well...it was a huge help! :)

If you go to their corporate webpage and locate their blogs, they actually link to one of my blogs there (still not paid, but I like the attention I get from being on that webpage ;) ). I draw the line, however, at advertising things I don't even know anything about just for money...people don't come to my blog to read that junk! :)
