Well, they do sleep in their crate, though Scott goes to work at like 6am so he usually takes them out first thing.

Sometimes, he doesn't put them back in the crate.

Well, I think it's just a matter of enforcement. If you think about it, anyone can do anything they want until someone tries to stop them.

It's a befuddling response. I've never seen a nonprofit that doesn't disclose its board of directors -- particularly when the IRS tells them to.

Guidestar generally blacks those sections out and most organizations aren't required to file schedule B, which I thin is the list of donors -- therefore, if they choose to, many will redact the donor's personal information.

That being said, you can usually get copies from the IRS -- but it'll take a while.

Actually, that's not what I said at all. I said it was their excuse.

They had experienced CPA's preparing their returns -- the numbers aren't mistakes. They still spent $2 million on employee salaries and two employees still earn six-figures a year, despite that their fundraising is stalling out (and that they've only received $2.8 million). None of that will change in the amendments.

Amending tax returns is a common nonprofit tactic once questions are raised about their finances.

Mr. Prentice still hasn't responded to requests for audited financial statements, the organizations application for tax exempt status and nor have they answered questions about why two nonprofits he runs are currently suspended by the state and why they haven't paid their franchise taxes.

We won't know for a long time -- tax returns for the most recently ended fiscal year aren't due for a while, and the current fiscal year doesn't end until next July for the CFC.

Thanks. I was wondering where that number might have come from. I still think that "thousands" is too much of a generalization to be called accurate. If they'd been as specific as you have, I'd've given them a little more leeway.

As I said in my email to you, I'm publishing this, but with the disclaimer that you've completely distorted the decision in In re: Marriage cases and it doesn't allow you to marry your cousin "as long as" you're "in love." The case wasn't about defining marriage, it was about reconciling the disparation between two separate but (almost) equal institutions: marriage and domestic partnerships.

I take a very dim view of these kinds of deceptive political tactics and I won't be as nice about it next time. Do not do it again.

The "homosexuality" is a choice rhetoric doesn't fly with me. Why in God's name would any would choose a life of constant rejection, pain, disparagement, discrimination and belittlement by people like you, where their loving relationships and the desire to have them treated and respected like yours are considered to be "special rights?"

And, if it was so easy to change -- don't you think more would do it?
