Qik is in closed beta and only supports limited handsets, correct? Yahoo Live is open to everyone immediately and is available to anyone with a webcam.
I agree that Yahoo could have scaled better in anticipation but let us watch it play out

OK, I loaded Virtual PC 2007 on Vista, downloaded and captured the Ubuntu 6.10 iso but have not been able to advance the install progress bar beyond a certain point after three tries. Tips/tricks/suggestions?

As a Flickr Pro, I use it extensively but may I make another suggestion? Try zooomr.com (yes, there are 3 o's) Zooomr is tagged as a Flickr killer but I doubt it. Same uploading features, you can geotag your pics, create sets and sharing as well. Limited but absolutley worth a look. I'm a pro there as well. Enjoy!

Anyway, like the Geico gecko, you just saved me a ton of money by not purchasing the Dell XPS M2010. Thank you for your inside scoop.
