Hopefully this gets him back on track.

Re: Mike Montgomery to Cal

I think it's a great hire. The man is a great college basketball coach, and his experience in building programs will come in handy. It remains to be seen if Cal can ever be a 'basketball school' per se, but four or five straight years in the NCAA tournament will go a long way towards making that happen. (I'm willing to give him some slack the first year, but expect results by year two.)

As for his misadventures with the Warriors, don't forget that Rick Pitino was terrible as an NBA coach as well, and was quickly successful upon going back to the NCAA where he belonged.

This is a very good thing. Go Bears!

Re: Stokke Inflation, Part II

Especially since Cal has apparently pulled all photos of her from their track & field pages:

http://deadspin.com/380539/allison-stokke-madne...

Too funny. But yes, she does make the site look better. Perhaps it's time for a new new masthead?

Re: Stokke Inflation, Part II

Ok, Ok...How about superimposing Stokke vaulting over the Campanile on the current masthead?

Or at least a weekly Stokke day...
