Sick bastards is absolutely correct. Oh, and Alex, there are lots of folk who come on to conservative blogs and start cussing and making wild assed accusations. If you don't believe that, take a look at some of the Democratic Underground comments about the death of Ken Lay here and Ken Lay, in spite of being a crook, was still a human being.

I had to watch this TWICE just to make sure that I heard what I thought I heard. I haven't seen that kind of hatred since the days of Bull Conner and the struggle for real civil rights. Every Civil Rights worker I've ever known (including me) would be sickened to know that this is what our efforts have come to. I'm glad she lost.. I'm glad she is out.. I suspect she'll run again.

Cameron, I don't have a dog in this fight, but I can tell you that the officer did absolutely nothing wrong. He did not deliberately shoot that poor woman and that she got injured was the legal responsibility of the driver of the vehicle. For example, If I rob a bank and you are the getaway driver, and I kill someone, you are equally culpable in the murder and will be prosecuted as such.

The post isn't rejoicing in the woman being hit, they are saying the deputy did nothing wrong in defending himself and the woman shouldn't have been there. Both of those are demonstrably true statements. I too am a "Goldwater Conservative" and have been since early 63, so, no, I don't think MU will drive me away. Sorry that it will drive you away.

Now that you mention it... it creeps me out even MORE, although I suspect that Reverand Kane was a whole lot nicer than Phelps... and that isn't saying very much at all is it.
