<rss version="2.0"><channel><title>Disqus - Latest Comments for Jonathan Rasmusson</title><link>http://disqus.com/people/84e6763cb038dc550dab6e3feb0f323d/</link><description></description><language>en</language><lastBuildDate>Wed, 23 May 2007 00:15:40 -0000</lastBuildDate><item><title>Re: Wisdom of crowds &amp;#8212; except at work?</title><link>http://mathewingram.disqus.com/wisdom_of_crowds_8212_except_at_work/#comment-1295324</link><description>Hi Mathew,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I think it's easy for each side of the debate to come up with&lt;br&gt;examples of where crowdsourcing works, and where it doesn't &lt;br&gt;work.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Freedmans example, while fair, miss some of the critical&lt;br&gt;points James points out in his book for what crowds need to&lt;br&gt;be effective - specifically independence, and a vested interest&lt;br&gt;in the outcome.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We are strong believers in crowdsourcing. At Cambrian House &lt;br&gt;we use the crowds rank our upcoming product ideas.
