Hi Warren, I just discovered this post and like this concept of no digging a lot. I also like the slug trap they've built - it's an easier concept than the cup dug down to ground-level I've seen before.

I'd also like to mention a site I'm working on which I think you might find interesting. http://www.plants.am - I think your readers would enjoy learning about it as well...

The communication tools are changing. Many, who believe in the use of paper, are very reluctant to change or even use the internet.

Vicki, Facebook is yet another social tool, that is lately grabbing all the attention. What's unique about it is that kids, youth, young adults and elder are using it!

The best thing about it is that I use it to promote our group and specially the content of the blog can be added to your profile.

Many are using for business and marketing purposes too.

Use the following applications: Blog Friends, Blog Link, Flog Blog, and of course Notes.

There are other applications like Wiki Mono, but I still haven't tried that out.

Interesting. These apps have been popping up lately. I've been using Foldershare from MS to sync docs between my two Macs (go figure). The only problem is that there isn't a place on the web I can go to upload, view, download documents. This kind of solves that. looks interesting.

I'm curioius if there are already safari bits (i.e. webkit) already in iTunes/QT for windows that if that was the motivation.

The security folks (me included) would say that the additional software adds to the attack surface area and provides another piece of code that could be vulnerable. But what if the code is already there as part of other applications? My developer-foo wouldn't allow me to research this properly.

But, then again, you're probably right that it was a marketing move.
