First off - I love the world sniglet. It just has a nice ring to it. Secondly, my favorite neologism, or I guess sniglet now is ...
SMALLINIZE!
I guess I think the word "shrink" is demeaning to something. I dunno. But if you want to make something smaller, just smallinize it. Duh.
I've used this in front of professors before. It's amazing what you can get away with if you say it with confidence.

thanks for the blog love! and as for your question about dionysian - there are several definitions you can implicate with my blog alias, but here's the one I identify with most:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dionysian
3. often dionysian In the philosophy of Nietzsche, of or displaying creative-intuitive power as opposed to critical-rational power.
happy belated blog day to you too! keep up the good work :)

interesting. So you would rather be "creative-intuitive" vs. "critical-rational"? I guess that would hold true for me too, guess thats why I like reading your drivel. I mean well written and thought out posts... :) Jen, your written stuff rocks. Keep it up!

Thanks for the shout out in the article - and yes, you need to have good relationships with your managers - but that applies to whether you like to text or not. My manager specifically asked for this form of communication, so I followed orders :)

I loved using twitter at the conference (@HumanFolly) - it was like there is one conversation going on in the room and another going on with Twitter.
After the Dean to Obama panel, I got to meet Joe Trippi and I said - "Hi, it's nice to meet you - we just had a great conversation - on Twitter." His jaw just about dropped and he said, "Oh shit, Twitter." LOL - it was priceless.
