in Leaving Yahoo - Going Mobile on everwas
It's a bummer to see you leave MBL. I'm hoping your next endeavor will be as satisfying and challenging as your last. Good luck Ian.

in Human Flying Squirrels on everwas
I could not believe how close those "fly squirrels" got to the canyon's walls. I was thinking they were going to wipe out on a few of those frames. I was surprised they were able to film it as well as they did.
I was a paratrooper (static line) and that's nothing compared to what these nutbags are doing. Talk about thrill seeking. No thanks.

“loosely confederated websites” -- Sounds like Falco is saying something similar to b5media but on a macro scale.

in How to buy blogrush credits on Patchlog
I got so frustrated with Blogrush that I simply removed their widget. Their widget kept disappearing from my page.
Their traffic to my page was negligible. I was averaging one or two visitors from them and their links weren't even relevant to my niche. But looking at your widget, they made have gotten slightly better on that (relevance). The majority of my visitors come from the search engines looking for a specific HOWTO.

in Why Blogs Suck on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
I agree with Humphrey's statement that blogging is on the decline. I think the blogging fad is waning because making money (impetus) with blogs is a fairly difficult proposition.

I chuckled about the "buy me a beer" link, too. I "guess" it's better than blatantly saying "Donation."
I was also surprised to see the post ($10) for removing the "no follow" tag. It didn't matter to me because I rarely comment on his blog. But I noticed that some people made dozens of posts on his blog. I wonder if they knew about the "no-follow" tag...

That was a thoughtful post. I think your last sentence is a good wrap-up.
