<rss version="2.0"><channel><title>Disqus - Latest Comments for thomasrial</title><link>http://disqus.com/people/80ea9cf8af9a24292325d91a414759b7/</link><description></description><language>en</language><lastBuildDate>Mon, 24 Mar 2008 07:39:17 -0000</lastBuildDate><item><title>Re: Sparks Already Flying in 3rd District Primary</title><link>http://iowaindependent.disqus.com/sparks_already_flying_in_3rd_district_primary/#comment-1664464</link><description>&lt;strong&gt;Ed Fallon helped elect George Bush&lt;/strong&gt; Let's not credit Ed Fallon for merely voting for Ralph Nader who gave did some good things in his life.&amp;nbsp; That's was Nader's success.&amp;nbsp; Fallon had nothing to do with it.&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;In fact, Fallon supported a candidate that helped to split progressives and liberals and give Bush a winner-take-all election in Iowa, Tennessee and Florida.&amp;nbsp; President Gore would have&amp;nbsp; kept this country from going down the path we see Republicans regretting.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;More important, however, is the fact that Ed Fallon has literally done nothing while a State Legislature.&amp;nbsp; He is all talk and no substance.&amp;nbsp; Not one piece of legislation has his name on it.&amp;nbsp; Not one.&amp;nbsp; He may have "introduced" measures to the State House, but that's it.&amp;nbsp; He will be no more than the Democrats Steve King.&amp;nbsp; On the fringe and incapable of contributing because he would rather live on the peak of principle rather than move this country forward through reasonable legislation and compromise.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;Fallon will ensure the GOP rules this district once again.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">thomasrial</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 06 Feb 2008 07:15:27 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Fallon Faces Campaign Finance Questions</title><link>http://iowaindependent.disqus.com/fallon_faces_campaign_finance_questions/#comment-1664639</link><description>&lt;strong&gt;Fallon is a hypocrite....&lt;/strong&gt; and having it both ways.&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;This guy is not leadership material.&amp;nbsp; He's a man who makes waves because he thinks its fun, but can't ride a surfboard.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;We need leadership.&amp;nbsp; Ideas matched with experience, ability to turn ideas into action, and the support from all corners to help make that happen.&amp;nbsp; Congressman Boswell has proven time and again in Washington and in our State Assembly that he's fully capable of doing just that.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;Fallon is all hype and no substance.&amp;nbsp; And he may be a bit unethical as well.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">thomasrial</dc:creator><pubDate>Mon, 24 Mar 2008 07:39:17 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
