I actually follow hundreds of moms and the advice is amazing.

Every time I have a parenting crisis I punch it into Twitter and am bombarded with great tips from experienced moms. But I really try to watch who I follow.

Maybe that will help. If we all un-follow the bad advice givers, it can't live on. Survival of the fittest.

I completely agree!

You are definitely my alter-ego. Seriously. I have dated SO many different types of men since becoming a single mom.

After being married to my "dream stud" and realizing what a disaster he was I decided to no longer judge any books by their cover.

My first post-divorce boyfriend was a biker man with a beard like ZZ Top's... SO funny. He was awesome though. It didn't work out but the experience was enlightening.

I've also dated not so straight men, religious men, and most recently - farm boy types.

At the end of the day - we are all the same - that I can tell you with certainty.

I just went out on a date last night and because he totally invited me out to dinner I let him pay... he also grabbed that check so fast I didn't have a chance (which was super, super nice and upped his sexy count).

But afterward I paid for our drinks at the bar.

Typically if I have no interest in the guy at all I insist on splitting the check.

10,000 maniacs, in 1987 (I think) - I was in the 4th or 5th grade. My big sister took me. Then it was Tom Petty in 1995. Big gap, but lots of festivals in between.
