But I really try to watch who I follow.

Maybe that will help. If we all un-follow the bad advice givers, it can't live on. Survival of the fittest.

I made this site last night - for anyone who is new to Twitter and just "doesn't get it."

http://www.twirgin.com

Feel free to cut that link out if you like - hope you don't mind, but I did want to share. I just love Twitter and am as fascinated with it as you are.

@mssinglemama

Alaina (aka Ms. Single Mama)´s last blog post..The First Date

Re: THEBLOG WEEMADE

She saw her Mommy & Daddy get married.

As a single mom, this one is definitely my favorite! You just need a litte red vase and maybe you could tear down that mirror, paint behind it and get a hanging mirror...room make overs take time! Piece by piece, you know?

Love that blue!

Re: 10 Things I Would Tell My Second Husband - A Guest Post

I am so happy for you - so incredibly happy that you're able to write this letter, to open your mind to the idea that someday he may appear. But we have to let them, don't we?

You're moving on... you're healing. Such a beautiful thing. And yes, you survived to be only stronger!

Ms. Single Mamas last blog post..Dude, he’s a natural.

Re: Baring Breasts: Courting With Acceptance

You are awesome.

LOVE your blog. Seriously. Nice work.

Totally wondering though - have you ever dated a single mom?

Re: Baring Breasts: Courting With Acceptance

Let's save your answers for a post on my blog - what do you say? Seriously. I have dated SO many different types of men since becoming a single mom.

After being married to my "dream stud" and realizing what a disaster he was I decided to no longer judge any books by their cover.

My first post-divorce boyfriend was a biker man with a beard like ZZ Top's... SO funny. He was awesome though. It didn't work out but the experience was enlightening.

I've also dated not so straight men, religious men, and most recently - farm boy types.

At the end of the day - we are all the same - that I can tell you with certainty.

Re: Who Should Pay On A First Date?

I just went out on a date last night and because he totally invited me out to dinner I let him pay... he also grabbed that check so fast I didn't have a chance (which was super, super nice and upped his sexy count).

But afterward I paid for our drinks at the bar.

Typically if I have no interest in the guy at all I insist on splitting the check.

Re: How To Talk About Yourself: Attractive Passion

LOVE your new blog.

Is that you in the picture? Hilarious.

My passion is writing at the moment, but my passions in life tend to ebb and flow. But you can be sure I'm always passionate about something - if not, I feel quite boring.

Re: The Fake-out First Concert…Confession

10,000 maniacs, in 1987 (I think) - I was in the 4th or 5th grade. My big sister took me. Then it was Tom Petty in 1995.
