in Syndie "Deal" Plans Couples Edition and Scraps Episodes on BuzzerBlog
I agree with Marc, they should just speed up the rest of the game. They could probably finish it in under 2 minutes if they just asked the person to choose their remaining cases quickly, no need to tell us what the banker would have given them. Or they could just ask them to open their own case right away, since it would be a low amount anyway...

[geek] That's actually a screencap from Mario Party DS. Couldn't they find just one screencap from a Wii game? [/geek]

in ET and The Insider Take a Look at The Price is Right on BuzzerBlog
Both shows are syndicated by CBS so it’s the same interviewer, but still two totally different interviews.

in Nine Network in Australia Picks Up "Power of 10" on BuzzerBlog
Since it will air on Channel Nine, they should call it "Power of Nine" and multiply by 9...
* $1,000 question: 40% range
* $9,000 question: 30% range
* $81,000 question: 20% range
* $729,000 question: 10% range
* $6,561,000 question: Exact guess from the previous question (see below)
Yeah, that would sort of make sense.

in Comedy Central Picks Up "Kenny VS Spenny" on BuzzerBlog
Kenny vs. Spenny is a critically-acclaimed show, and its format has been sold to many countries... Just because it doesn't fit on GSN and it's not really a game show doesn't mean it's not a good show. Comedy Central is the right place for that show, I think it should fit in very nicely.

in Early Look at "Camouflage" on BuzzerBlog
is this show staged before a studio audience (unlike “Lingo”?)
From the article you must have not read: "It’s the most canned audience I’ve ever heard in my life; they would have been better not to even bother with the applause track."

I'm not sure, but I think it's the guy from the poker / blackjack / whatever gambling IDs, so I guess he's a star of one of those shows.

in "Let's Play Crosswords" Name Change on BuzzerBlog
The fact that there was a CNN show means nothing, Jon Stewart or not. There’s been several TV shows that had the same title. Granted “Crossfire” might be the most successful example, CNN can’t stop someone from using the title.
Yes, but when a show uses a title that has already been used by an other show, it's always an obscure show from decades ago. Crossfire ended just 2 years ago, and it lasted for 23 years. And it was very popular.

Wikipedia: "Crossfire was a current events debate television program that aired from 1982 to 2005 on CNN. Its format was designed to present a discourse between a politically liberal speaker and a conservative speaker."
And there's the whole Jon Stewart incident. So, no.

How come Bob Goen is in one of the new "Get in the Game" GSN idents? Will "That's the Question" come back, or is he going to host another show on the network?

What’s not to love about 10-year-olds gaining the intellectual high ground over nervous adults, fearing humiliation in front of a live studio audience?
Mmm, do we have to answer that?
