in IronPlanet online auction for truck and heavy equipment now more user friendly on Fleet Owner
So Iron Planet has been at this online auction business of heavy tucks and equipment for nearly a decade now. Now these are definitely big ticket items we're talking about here. I wonder if there is actually room or a need for another online auction site like the newly opened Big Ticket Depot, founded by Vortex Marketing CEO Joel Sauceda, and with the intention of providing a cyber corner to deal specifically with the bidding, buying and selling of big ticket items ranging in price from US$1,000 on up. It seems like BTD has been in the works for at least a year but only came online, or at least the auction site itself because the affiliate broker aspect has been up and running since the end of 2008. I'm beginning to wonder if I should bother with Big Ticket Depot or not. And then there is its cousin site, also by Sauceda, Big Value Depot, which already is beginning to get quite a few items listed on it. Neither one of these auction websites asks for valuation fees, and the brokers can offer free listings to their clients. Worth checking out is you are into online auctions, I suppose. Big Ticket Depot also has a few heavy pieces of equipment listed there, I think, at least at last look.

in Big Ticket Depot Seeking 5000 Brokers by January 15, 2009 on Matthew Stonewell' Blog
Matthew, hey.
One thing, this is definitely a nice-looking blog, calming colors. I came here after taking a look at Richard's site on introducing Big Ticket Depot to perspective sellers of big ticket items, an angle I had not fully considered, or at least one that had not fully driven itself into my forebrain. I was previously some minutes ago messing about with PPC Web Spy by Brad Callen (the free version, at least so far), an Adwords keyword grabbing software program, and thereupon made my way to www.richardmathiason.com and his lengthy article on BTD. I too am amongst the Elite 300 BTD Spartan warriors --- oops, sorry, not the second part; well, you know what I mean.
The two peeps I have brought on board into the expanded BTD Elite 300 have succeeded in getting their blogsites on BTD on the first page of Google for the search term "Big Ticket Depot", which is way cool, but I started having this inkling way back in the nether recesses of my aftbrain, or maybe my lizard brain, or make that daft brain, that there might be other keywords as useful if not more so to implement for organic searches on my various BTD-related sites. Also, the "bumps in the road" that you mention here, I guess the postponed opening of the client side is an example of that, but the recent BTD news update on this delay makes it all sound copacetic to me. And I agree totally about the integrity we have here with Joel Sauceda.
Okay, Matt, good luck on your end. This baby is gonna rock for us in the next couple of years or so, if not much, much sooner. Doug.

in Preview: The Beast on Film School Rejects
Yeah, I agree, what a stupid dumb-ass, still smoking after getting cancer, just like me. Getting cancer can really bring on a degree of anxiety that only a good smoke can help relieve. Makes my chest get tight just thinking about it.

in Is Danny Boyle Remaking ‘Lady Vengeance’? on Film School Rejects
Why couldn't it take place within a Korean or Asian community somewhere in the States? That works for me, but I live in Taiwan. Hey, there's an idea --- set the remake in Taiwan . . . has anyone seen Double Vision? Now there's a creepy film.

It would have been a treat to have been the proverbial fly on the wall during their conversation, that's for sure. I would imagine, however, that it was at least quite congenial in that Bush can turn on the charm when he chooses to and Obama is even-tempered charismatic equinamity to the nth.

in Blogs (HUH): What Are They Good For? on Marketing Pilgrim
I find that the few blogs that I am operating (Is that the proper verb? Does one "operate" a blog? Well, whatever, this is an example of part of my answer, I guess.) help me in understanding how to use blogs for the various and sundry purposes of said blogs. I am guessing here that one way to have a blog help in boosting the presence of other websites in the eyes of the search engines that the blogger might have is by posting comments with content of some form on the blogs of others and within forums as well. That may be a lot of work, but it is just part and parcel of setting up a business, that is if the main idea eventually behind an Internet presence is to make money online via an Internet-based business. That's what I'm thinking. Plus, it helps hone my writing skills for no other reason than, at least for yours truly personally, I enjoy the act, the operation, of writing.

in Why Twitter Is Better Than Google on The Friday Traffic Report
I have been getting several new followers every day during the last few days. I decided today NOT to just start following each and every one of them as well (quite yet) so that I can begin to get to know the ones I HAVE decided to follow. I am also fairly new in Twitter, and I have absolutely no idea how or why so many folx are suddenly twittered up to me. But it's pretty cool. It seems like a lot of these recent followers are from Renegade Marketing, so I guess I might as well start asking pertinent questions about RM and perhaps Ann Seig's 7 don't-do list. But actually, right now, my Gnaural Programmable Binaural Beat Generator (http://gnaural.sourceforge.net) just slid from a nice preogrammed Alpha 9.11 down into a Delta of 3.8 Hz, and I am feeling kinda grogdjufyyaggyy ... . ..

in Who Has The Best Bonus Package for Traffic Secrets? on The Friday Traffic Report
The offer I got from Jason Mangrum is pretty decent -- he'll buy TS2.0 for me --- if I join My Internet Business at the Silver, Gold or Platinum level --- but since I am already joined up in it under him, I might give Mr. Reese's upgrade a pass this time around. In fact, I think I'll just continue to stick with what's offered in Authority Black Book (especially now that Version 2.0 is out [and safely ensconced within the depths of my hard drive]) along with the socnet-oriented material J comes up with. But Jason tends to do things differently. I mean, getpaidbygod.com? That is just too cool. As is Authority Black Book.
