He is stamped thoroughly on each page. Sure, they might not be your "cup of tea", but Palahniuk is famous for his disturbed sense of humor. If you didn't like these stories, then you don't really like Chuck Palahniuk... you just enjoy some of his works. Also, James Spader or Ben Kingsley would be great villains/rival agents.
