I would rank Indiana's Assembly Hall above Illinois' Assembly Hall. I've witnessed many great games in the hall and the atmosphere doesn't get much more electric. Even in the balcony the roar of the crowd is deafening, but nothing compares to sitting close to the floor. I don't think there is any other arena in the country where 17,000 fans are more passionate about basketball. Maybe during Davis' final years Illinois had an edge on the Hoosiers, but there were still games where the crowd was so deafening you couldn't even yell at the person next to you. Take for example Ewing Jr. tipping in Bracey's missed free throw against Iowa to send the game to overtime, or Marco's dunk against Duke to put the Hoosiers up at the seven minute mark. Also, at least take into account Knight's time in Bloomington, and the turn around that Sampson gave to the Hoosier fans last season. This coming year will be one of the most electrifying seasons that Assembly Hall has seen in many years and will usher in the true return of Hoosier Hysteria.
