You are wrong. The picture on that website is nothing more than a Animated Gif, with 4 diferent frames. You can even right click and save it yourself if you want to see. Use something like Animation Shop to open it.

It's no live feed. And it doesn't refresh. Sorry to burst your bubble.

The photovoltaics on the CIS building were not designed in the BIPV method. The building underwent a £5.5 million project to retro-fit 7,244 PV panels creating 181,000kWh/annum in 2004/5. The building was built in 1962. I agree that it is a fine example of how PV can be installed post design and is one of the finest examples you will see. Regards, Neil (Manchester)

Have bike will travel. The first time is always the worst. Sounds like you were using too much glue. I got my tubs in March this year second hand with punctured tyres still glued on. I got them repaired and the wise old man that did it showed me how to install them. After mounting 5 tubs I could almost do it now without spilling a drop of glue. A latex glove is quick & handy for spreading glue on the rim with your index finger.

Tommy P is referring to stuff like Stans tyre sealant. I'm about to start using it in my tubs as insurance against punctures in remote areas cause I just love riding on my tubular wheels so much. You can tell an improvement in ride comfort and cornering over clinchers

What a lot of tosh!

The principal backer behind Spurs is Joe Lewis who is worth billions (literally). Of the people who own Premiership football clubs, only Abramovich is worth more money. Add that to Daniel Levy, our chairman, who is worth a pretty bob or two, and who is a Spurs fan, and Alan Sugar who's still got a significant shareholding in the club and we are already owned by people with fantastic wealth who have been successfully running the club, and who have provided it with a very stable financial backdrop.

This is a non-story with a headline which disguises its absolute lack of substance.

Cataluña necesita una gigantesca operación de imagen

En vísperas de la Expo 92, en la década de los ochenta del pasado siglo, en una visita de Jordi Pujol a Sevilla, el entonces presidente de la Generalitat reconoció ante José Rodríguez de la Borbolla, por entonces presidente de la Junta de Andalucía, que Cataluña, con su imagen ya muy deteriorada, necesitaba desplegar una ofensiva de encanto en España e invertir muchos miles de millones de pesetas en una operación de imagen.

Aquella gran inversión que el President creía necesaria, nunca se hizo porque los sucesores de Don Jordi fueron más arrogantes y torpes y optaron por estimular un nacionalismo altivo e insolidario.

Hoy, Cataluña sigue necesitando una gigantesca operación de relaciones públicas que le permita mejorar su imagen en el resto del territorio de España, que es su principal mercado, donde su imagen está por lo menos seis o siete veces más deteriorada que en aquellos lejanos tiempos de la década de los ochenta del pasado siglo, cuando Cataluña ya empezaba a detectar el retroceso de su prestigio e imagen y la necesidad de potenciarla ante los consumidores para salvar su industria y comercio.

La imagen de Cataluña es hoy la peor de España, más deteriorada, incluso, que del País Vasco. Es la única comunidad española que padece un boicot sistemático y creciente a sus productos y, lo que es más grave, un boicot que es entendido por los ciudadanos como una práctica democrática de defensa cívica frente a abusos catalanes como los que han quedado plasmados en el Estatut recientemente aprobado, ley que ha hecho retroceder demasiados enteros la imagen de la Catuluña en España y de manera quizás irrecuperable.

Tengo un amigo catalán, que es experto en comunicación y dueño de una importante empresa del sector de la publicidad. Él calcula que el costo de la campaña de relaciones públicas que Cataluña necesita para neutralizar su pésima imagen en España sería tan alto que no podría ser asumida ni siquiera por la propia Generalitat. Y lo peor de todo es que los resultados de esa campaña gigante, si llegara a realizarse, siempre serían inciertos porque el deterioro de la imagen de Cataluña es demasiado profundo y bien incrustado el alma de los consumidores.

La campaña de imagen que Cataluña necesita requiere un gran esfuerzo técnico de imaginación y creatividad, además de inversiones masivas en publicidad, exposiciones, conferencias en foros cívicos, visitas de personajes, jornadas de estudio, conciertos, folletos, libros, produciones audiovisuales, gestos y declaraciones de amistad por parte de catalanes conocidos y otras muchas actuaciones.

La imagen de Cataluña es bastante peor que la que sufre el País Vasco, también deteriorada, a pesar de que en Euskadi hayan recurrido al terrorismo y a la violencia para dirimir sus disputas con España, y de que ETA haya sembrado de cadáveres todo el territorio español. Los consumidores, en el caso vasco, distinguen entre vascos buenos y vascos malos, entre terroristas y demócratas, mientras que el el caso de Cataluña la mala imagen y el rechazo es más profundo y generalizado, alcanzando con su onda expansiva a todo lo que significa Cataluña.

El País Vasco cuenta con personas queridas y valoradas en España, como Rosa Diez o Redondo Terreros, o con instituciones valoradas, como el Foro de Ermua, mientras que no existen en Cataluña.

"Nuestra imagen --afirma mi amigo catalán--, en parte merecida y también inmerecida, es consecuencia, sobre todo, de errores políticos. Es una imagen de nuevos ricos arrogantes, oportunistas, insolidarios y hasta racistas, que han roto la igualdad y la solidaridad, que quieren ser superiores a los demás y que han ofendido y despreciado gravemente a los ciudadanos del resto del Estado. Es una imagen que, probablemente, no tenga cura utilizando los médios profesionales y técnicos disponibles. Quizás haya que esperar dos o tres generaciones para que el antiguo aprecio y la admiración por lo catalán se restablezcan en España".

Just in case some readers are confused, the package in the Ubuntu repository is an entirely different edition than the main package available from Sun's website. The so-called ose (open source edition) supplied by Ubuntu is cut down and most notably has no usb support. The other edition is closed source and has more features including usb support. Both editions cost nothing to non-business users so unless you are an oss purist just forget the Ubuntu package and install the closed one from Sun's website. For updates install the latest full closed edition over the top of the previous closed edition.
Having said that, installing VirtualBox is not for newbies so be prepared to use the manual and forums.

Boredome is what is killing me these days. Being Consultant is I guess part of it. There are times when you are busy like hell(happy or not) and others when you are not doing anything at all. I have not been permanent emplyee for a while now so don't know how its like to be, but I think one needs to evaluate this point while taking up new consulting job- can you take the risk of going thru patches of no work like this and fear of going workless anytime? I am sure these kind of senarios are possible for non-consulting jobs, but there might be lesser risk of loosing ones jobs. Any thoughts?

This number has been calling me once or twice a day for about 4 days. Most of them i have missed until today. The first one today i answered and they hung up. I phoned from another id protected phone and it was answered with call centre noise in the backround, nobody answered and then hung up after about 5 seconds. I called again twice but it just rang off after 5 minutes. I left it a bit and called again when a woman answered, i said that her number kept calling me and i wanted it to stop and would call the police. She said she had just got in when the phone rang and did not know who i was, i said teh same and told her to stop calling. I wondered if the number had been diverted to somebody else to answer??

Keep in mind that it takes power to turn a generator. The electric motor powering the car's motion would need more electricity to power the generator. Basically it seems like you are proposing a perpetual motion machine. Remember that in every conversion of energy there is a loss of usable energy.

This is something Safari does, and it also completely fakes it! :) If you look inside the Safari.app bundle, you'll find ten download icons, each with the progress bar progressively more and more full. As Safari is downloading a file, it's changing the icon for the download at 10%, 20%, etc complete, and thanks to the way the system notices file updates, the Finder and Stacks update immediately and it looks like a live progress bar.
