Watched the first episode the day it screened in the US, decided it wasn't for me and never watched it again.

I agree with FulltimeCasual. I have a $30 cheap asian divx player that runs better and plays more formats than our $500 DVD Recorder/VHS/Divx player and my hacked ps2.

@Josh: Never badmouth Nip/Tuck. Every season is better than the last.
@FulltimeCasual: You can also see every episode of Nathan Barley if you search for them on Google Video

@Marc Edwards: I totally agree. Nip/Tuck is often underrated and ignored because of the subject matter but its actually totally excellent.

in The golden age of television on Boxcutters - An Australian TV Podcast
My list would include:

Harvey Birdman (Revamp of old Hanna Barbera cartoons)
Mighty Boosh (Other mediums transferred to tv [stage show-radio show-tv])
Rome (Visually amazing)
Dexter (Nothing else like it on television)
Nip/Tuck (Pushes boundaries of what should and shouldn't be allowed on television constantly)
Scrubs (Network show without laughtrack)
Twin Peaks (Long story format done well)

What do you think?

I've uploaded the video to google video. There are a few issues with the sound being out of sync (Only a few ms. Not my fault [original video perfectly in sync].) otherwise video is fine. Check it out at: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8572626...

On a different note i was glad to hear that Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm were featured in the Golden Age Of Television. How about Entourage?

I've had the opposite experience with telstra this month (although it still dosent make up for all the times they've screwed me over before). This month I've downloaded Six Feet Under Season One, Drawn Together Season Two and Psych Season One (recodes from Xvid asD [350mb -> 120mb]). They didn't count it. The first thing they've actually counted towards my monthly download properly is the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie which i got yesterday. They said that i had downloaded about 850mb from their free sites (i hadn't) but that was okay because it was unmetered.

Heres a screenshot of my usage.

TPG is about to release a 150gb unlimited plan for around $70 a month.

Heres the forum article.

Im really glad to hear you've included six feet under in your golden age of television. I've recently had the flu and have had the pleasure of watching it from the first episode.

in Opinions on Southpark and Family Guy on Boxcutters - An Australian TV Podcast
I agree with catbrain even though I enjoy Family Guy. I have many friends who enjoy Family Guy and many friends who either don't understand the humor or don't find it funny. I am also a really big fan of South Park and yet again I have many friends who enjoy South Park and many friends who either don't understand the humor or don't find it funny. I think that in answer to the end of catbrains post we should all go back to mutually hating the wedge.

DONNIE DARKO IS AMAZINGLY GREAT YOU
weird brown hijab-lobster bib combination piece WORN BY EWOKS!!!
THOSE COMMENTS WERE ALMOST AS BAD AS THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY EDITION (you can read about it on wikipedia and you can download it of demonoid. Basicly its horrible and George Lucas tried to have every copy of it obliterated. It even contains videos of ewoks giving cooking lessons)!!!
