I LOVE the rosy cheeks on my boys after coming in from "working hard" on their fort. I love how at night, I feel like I'm in a big cozy nest!

Reality

At the end of the movie, "Cheaper by the Dozen", when Steve Martin is quietly watching his family at Christmas dinner. They are laughing and story telling and the look on his face says, "This is what it's all about." I love to sit back at the height of the chaos and do the same.

To be the master of my Inner Peace... to always have the ability to think clearly and peacefully.

OK girls...here's the skinny....I work for a dermatologist, and you DON'T need to spend a lot of money on skin care products.....Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser from the drug store, and prescription Retin-A for the fine lines...it works like the most expensive masks and exfoliators!

Watching people everywhere come together...my heart tells me that the world is good.

I have already begun! The best start to the season was when my 3 boys brought home lists of 3 families in need and we went out to Christmas shop for them. From groceries to toys, their excitement was wonderful...to watch them carefully choose a gift for a little boy or girl their ages ....well, let's just say, THAT"S what its all about.

I do not quilt, or even sew for that matter, but I collect quilting magazines. Looking through the pages, I am amazed by the beautiful patterns and textures, and by how a quilt can become art. Somewhere deep inside me, I long to spend my days quilting and baking......

I will be staying warm and cozy with my family and awaiting my Dad's return home from the hospital. We will all give thanks that Grampa came through surgery, and make him his favourite foods and get his favourite movies.....Amen.

I love how we can change the world by nurturing each child who comes in to our lives.

This is so beautiful.....we were God given such an amazing purpose....I think we neglect this sometimes.

I am a sensitive mama....I just know when each of my boys needs my special attention.

I THINK I was the girl who seemed sure of herself, INVENTED the mini-kilt (yes...others claimed they did!), had a tight group of friends, was purely there for the social aspect...but really......I was SO unsure of myself, so self-conscious....a LOT of inner turmoil.....had LOTS of laughs and wore purple Maybelline eyeshadow. DANIELLE was as she says she was....always seemed wiser than her years, marched to her own beat, on the mysterious side for sure, and ALWAYS a sensuality about her.....the girl that guys wondered about......help me out Danielle!!!!!

To kick it off, my husband surprised me by hiring a cleaning service to clean my house today!!! How GREAT was it to come home from work to a clean house! NOW I can enjoy a weekend of being hockey and football mom AND.......meeting my honey in the hot-tub when the kids are in bed!

It's a feeling.....the way I feel when I'm giving it everything I've got.

I'm sorry to be such a naysayer lately, but with all the things we have to think about in a day, now I should MAKE myself present in the moment? What has become of us?!!

I have recently started working a second job.....and I am obsessed with the fact that I hate trying to juggle so many things, and that I KNOW I have become a shell of myself.....my husband says its good financially.......

I know this sounds silly, but I think there is a way to spice up anything. Reading a new book on my lunch hour is like being in a different place....buying a new mug for my morning commute is nicer than a paper cup....listening to my new ipod music while watching my boys at the hockey arena.... taking a nice bath in the morning BEFORE the craziness starts.....you see...let your creativity flow. I'm OK with not being curious these days.......I finally feel that I am now needed to help my sons solve their curious mysteries......and that is very gratifying.

KINDNESS.....I pray for my sons to show kindness to everyone they meet.....as I do.

Wow.....I just want to get through today!

I can not think about tomorrow.....only today....OK, that's not happenin....I can not respond to, "You're the meanest Mom in the World!!!!!"......I may even say thank you.
