Does it look like you'll be able to keep up with that demand? I've noticed that you now have the date of the last update shown under the signature. That's a nice touch. My last update was 1/28 and it is neat to be able to know that I when I am due for another. Two weeks seems like an ideal period.

Re: 2008/05/03/torrent-mpaa-cold-case/

This all makes me wonder if NiteShdw could have come out of this with nothing but a few sleepless nights rather than having him, his wife and his daughter struggling to make loan payments...

He wasn't like the other torrent sites. That means that I don't have the bred in need to slight North East Ohio that comes with birth proximity to Youngstown. I look at Ohio and I see how much more vibrant the economy is compared to Western Pennsylvania and I think that half the problem is the gloom that is on the tip of everyone's tongues constantly.

However, I did attend a conference in Cleveland this year and I was quite embarrassed by the way things were kept. Every place has homeless but most cities don't allow piles of human excrement and tp to be left outside of the entrance to the convention center for several days. I also realize that pigeons die and don't simply instantly disappear, but combine that and the last and the street next to the convention center being completely torn up and all the stores closed, I was embarrassed of the big city I now look north to as the star city for my area.

It shouldn't be and Cleveland won't improve until people do what is needed to get the stuff done. And yes, I raised a stink, if you will, about the messes till they were resolved. Most stuff I just would clean up myself as part of civil duty but ok I admit somethings I prefer to bring to the attention of others...

Re: Cleveland Rocks?

And no, that wasn't the only pile with toilet paper that was laying around.... I'd not ever seen that in San Diego, San Fran, Vegas, Baltimore, Louisville, Long Beach, Nashville, Pittsburgh or any of the other convention centers I've been to.

Re: Twitter Packs Goes off the Rails Quick

Interesting idea and not completely unexpected, but I don't think it will last long. Twitter is too dynamic to be classified in a static manner. People fall in and out of favor depending upon how often the tweet about totally uninteresting stuff.

Besides I agree packs are for wolves and it actually made me think it was groups of twitter clients, bots and extensions that you installed.

The term used should be should be murders like groupings of crows. Isn't TwitterMurders.com a much more interesting site? (/me wonders how long till a site parker finds that.)

Re: Joost’s new CEO points to a set-top-box future

Well actually the Joost player is made with the core codec media player and TCPMP plays movies quite nicely and my 3gs Rev A phone has great speed for downloads. That's why I'm sitting by the pool at the YMCA looking for a Joost Windows Mobile version.
