Good topic girl. I think I date men who have many attributes of my dad. I am sure that is mostly because I was raised by my dad. Consciencly I don't think I choose men like him but being that my dad has set the standard high I guess have done the same

I was raised by my dad, but at the same time as I got older my dad became closer to me like a friend instead of an authority figure so I guess subliminally, I do date guys who are like my father b/c I look for a genuine friendship that can be built on relationship wise.

But it just seemed weird to hear that most of my guy friends want a woman who has the characteristics of their mothers.

I have never commented before but I am an avid reader. I date this way for many reasons many one being I am young and I just don't have time to wait for one of them to get off their period. On many occasions I tell these guys they are not the only one. This is not to say I sleep with them. Most of the time the only thing I may do is kiss but that is about as far as I go.
