One of the greatest commentators ever and a guy who is getting paid to talk about a sport he knows nothing about doesn't even know his name.

Re: Spain-Italy Most Watched Match So Far And Other ESPN Euro Ratings News

I wonder how all of this compares to similar international tournaments at the moment such as Wimbledon?

Soccer has come a long way in the US and I hope tomorrow's viewing figures will reflect that.

Re: ESPN Has The Power To Make Soccer Successful In America

I think that as bad as Tommy Smyth is in the box, it's good to keep him hanging around as the casual American has come to know his face, name, and most of all - accent. Andy Gray is class and the casual fan knows him from the videogame FIFA as well. ESPN certainly did a great job, but as always there is room for improvement.

Re: Benitez Burns His Bridges

I must agree with previous comments. Liverpool have the right people in the right places to win, they just haven't done it yet. Check out this article, it highlights Liverpool's main problem: http://www.premiershiptalk.com/2008/07/why-live...

Re: New Man United Third Shirt Revealed: Photos

Decent looking, yet plain shirt. Looks like another money maker for the club. Two new kits in one season once again.

Re: New Hull City 08/09 Home Shirt Launched | EPL Talk

At least there will be some different colors in the Prem.
