Is that why i'm grouchy all winter in blighty? That doesn't make sense though - I'm always grouchy.
I can sypathise with the atmospheic mood changes, though. How dare it rain on my day off. The sheer bold cutting cheek of it. There was only one way to get over it today - lock myself away for a few hours and bash the hell out of a 40 year old piece of wood - never fails to distract from the grey skies outside. I wholeheartedly recommend it - if only soemone would invent a decent foldable travel guitar so that our travelling friends could share the relief.

Take care on those wet roads now. I hope you're wearing a helmet.

Well, it looks like the blog slog is paying off. Looking good - inside and out.
I can't believe that you haven't made any cash out of this - didn't the Google people slip you a couple of bucks for the ads? The rotten swines! I'm going back to askjeeves.com ;-)

Anyway - for my two pennies worth - to me, getting a 9-5 job equals leaving the office - I work too many hours and would love a bit of routine: And I don't really subscribe to the idea that we're in a cage that we can escape by going off somewhere. I think we make our own cages - some are dire and smell of wee, others are made of things we like (like cheese or music or booze.)

Anyway - good luck with the blog - i'll add it to me favorites.

Miaow. This is me fave so far. Maybe because its a bit dark sounding or maybe because i'm listening to it a bit too late not to be in bed. I'll try it again in the morning with some cornflakes to see if it still does it for me. By the way, I am actually always right. Ego that.

Unashamed acoustic pop song in 2 and a half mins. Nice. I thought you said T Rex in verse 2, but I was wrong. Instead you introduce yet another first in an English language song! you should write a song about T rex. All my windows exploded on the outro. Pop music ist gut.

Its hard to know how to comment on this one as its clearly very personal â€“ so iâ€™ll stick to the music. A real nice tune â€“ keeps catching me out â€“ it doesnâ€™t go where you expect. I listened to it before reading the blog and thought â€œwhoâ€™s the woman youâ€™re seeing in your missusâ€™ eyes you swine?â€
Strayed off the music there, didnâ€™t I. Great song.

Nice vibe. Like the groovy guitar, but I also like it when its kicked out of the way by the freaky outburst at the end. Voice sounds great & like the lyrics.

I can feel the unrest. Catchy and intense chorus and nice verses which would sound even better with a bit of harpischord. Maybe just in my head though. The sound is actually nice and bright on my set-up, so being without your studio shouldn't put you off recording more like this. Light yerself up now...

Relly liked the glam one with the drums too. â€“ hint of the Sweet or sommet. The harmonies do it for me in the chorus.

yep - a nice bit of uplift - the musical equivalent of an underwire bra. Groovy percussion sounds too.

Just as well - got Armageddon on in the background and it's all going wrong - Steve Buschemi has just got Space Dementia and started shooting everyone.

nothing wrong with shandy (especially of the hand variety.)
a bit of a departure eh? its refreshing to hear a light hearted tune although i normally prefer my tunes serious and my beer tepid.
reminds me of an inferior song i wrote a while ago - a sort of lament of a pathetic bit of fast food who dreamed of being served in a gourmet restaurant.

quite an odd one as the chorus comes accross as quite negative but the overall sentiment is one of moving on and looking forward.
i like a bit of darkness though.
still, change or no change - there is no right or wrong or one size fits all. also there is no try, only do (yoda)
