We need to give that to them. I agree that your script helps users in using Digg but then if it is screwing up Digg's system then they have every right to bann the usage and the members using it. However, warning of the ban is a must which was apparently not given in this case.

Re: Blogging: The blog service Zemanta updates the service and releases Live Writer plugin

The tool does provide assistance but needs more tweaking.

Is it possible to search for links for common names specially social networking services as is the case with images?

Re: Quick Tip

A great tip thanks and it is great to have the new version of Gaim

Re: Is AOL’s India Portal a Yahoo Clone?

India is surely becoming one of the lucrative market.

Re: Find Bookmark Suggestions For Del.icio.us With Bookmarks inSuggest

Insuggest is something that has made bookmarking and tagging of webpages and websites useful. With so many choices, some which are backed by companies like Yahoo and Google, it becomes difficult for a person like me to choose a service to use.

What do you think?

Re: 2008/05/27/improving-blog-comments/

What about cocomment? I was surprised that it has not been mentioned in this post. I have been using cocomment to post comments on other blogs and I have found it handy as it keeps track of the comments you have made and also lets you know if someone replies to your comment.

I have not implemented cocomment on my blog at http://www.afterthe.net/journal because Wordpress has fairly good support for managing comments and Akismet does a decent job as far as catching spam in comments is concerned.

Re: 2007/08/08/disqus/

I use CoComment to track my comments on other blogs though I have not implemented it on my blog mainly because I'm from the old school thought and believe in keeping my content and comments on my blog. By implementing a third party service on my blog to manage comments my fear is that comments would not remain as part of my blog.

Though Jitendra has commented on this I would like some of the new service providers namely, Disqus, IntenseDebate and SezWho have extra which is not offered by CoComment for users like myself so that CoComment users like myself are compelled to migrate to their service.

Re: 2008/06/09/bookmarks-insuggest/

Thank you for sharing the information. I would like to start a podcast and one big deterrent has been the hosting. I would like to go in for free hosting though I know that there are some ownership issues. I'm ready to sacrifice that - for the time being.

Having done that I decided to look for some free services and the problem is that there are many who offer free service. I wanted recommendations on who the best free hosting provider for podcast is. If someone who has actually used the services comments that would be a bonus.

Pete continue the good work as it helps a lot of people like me.

Re: 2008/08/26/startup-exchange/

A great example of how to use crowd sourcing. The fact that it is interactive and the members get incentives is a plus. Increasing incentives or prizes which they already have (and a hurrah to them for that) would go a long way to make this more popular.

Re: Toodledo

Toodledo is a great tool. It is also about what might happen and it is reporting on the future or what could be the result of certain actions today what makes things interesting otherwise all the news media (newspapers, magazines, radio, TV and the Internet) would have the same content.

Not only that this kind of reporting also assists individuals and companies in making decisions which they are mulling on.

Therefore I do not agree with Javed that only once something has been done it should be reported and not what is likely to happen. It would make news so boring.

Re: Zoom Telescope for Nokia, Sony Ericsson Mobile Phones

If anyone has used this what are the results.
