Killer list and reading. Chris great work.

Mobile space is something everyone should be interested in and it has tremendous potential. Everytime I think I have come to terms with the potential of the mobile communication world something or the other comes in and stumps me.

The tool does provide assistance but needs more tweaking.

Is it possible to search for links for common names specially social networking services as is the case with images?

in Was Digg Right To Ban Diggboss For His Helpful Script? on SheGeeks
A service provider should be able to control who does what with their service. We need to give that to them. I agree that your script helps users in using Digg but then if it is screwing up Digg's system then they have every right to bann the usage and the members using it. However, warning of the ban is a must which was apparently not given in this case.

in TradeVibes Startup Exchange Leverages the Wisdom of the Community to Place Valuation on Startup Companies on SociableBlog.com
A good example of crowd computing and how to use it to generate intelligence which otherwise might not be possible.

A great example of how to use crowd sourcing. The fact that it is interactive and the members get incentives is a plus. Increasing incentives or prizes which they already have (and a hurrah to them for that) would go a long way to make this more popular.

Good information and I would recommend reading the other article on mashable that has a list of resources for podcasting.

I had a question. I would like to start a podcast and one big deterrent has been the hosting. I would like to go in for free hosting though I know that there are some ownership issues. I'm ready to sacrifice that - for the time being.

Having done that I decided to look for some free services and the problem is that there are many who offer free service. I wanted recommendations on who the best free hosting provider for podcast is. If someone who has actually used the services comments that would be a bonus.

Pete continue the good work as it helps a lot of people like me.

Thank you for sharing the information. Usage of delicious has become even more useful specially given the fact that the inbuilt tool in delicious for the recommendations was not that great.

Insuggest is something that has made bookmarking and tagging of webpages and websites useful. The tool that delicious had for the recommendations was not good. Thank you for sharing the same.

I use CoComment to track my comments on other blogs though I have not implemented it on my blog mainly because I'm from the old school thought and believe in keeping my content and comments on my blog. By implementing a third party service on my blog to manage comments my fear is that comments would not remain as part of my blog.

Though Jitendra has commented on this I would like some of the new service providers namely, Disqus, IntenseDebate and SezWho have extra which is not offered by CoComment for users like myself so that CoComment users like myself are compelled to migrate to their service.

What about cocomment? I was surprised that it has not been mentioned in this post. I have been using cocomment to post comments on other blogs and I have found it handy as it keeps track of the comments you have made and also lets you know if someone replies to your comment.

I have not implemented cocomment on my blog at http://www.afterthe.net/journal because Wordpress has fairly good support for managing comments and Akismet does a decent job as far as catching spam in comments is concerned.

Palin Ningthoujam Pali, we chose to review those commenting systems that bloggers can use on their blogs as an alternate commenting system than their blog system's default. Cocomment is more about individual comment tracking that i can use to track my comments across blogs.

More confusion as it has become more difficult to decide which service to use. With so many choices, some which are backed by companies like Yahoo and Google, it becomes difficult for a person like me to choose a service to use.

What do you think?

On the whole a good tool though to be successful one has to add more features which can be handled by novices. I hope flauntR does have plans in future to add more feature sets.

You have a good blog as well continue the hard work.

Ganesh and DJ while you can laugh it off as a joke but what you said might be correct! Your life maybe Google life as it is venturing into offline media as well (TV and Radio advertisements to start with). That is not fun for me at all and something should be done to stop this.

Interesting application but as you mentioned that the developers need to maintain the momentum to make sure people's interest is maintained. Adding features is one of the exercise which can help them achieve this.
