I'm afraid some people have trouble knowing the difference between a "fake" someone and identity theft.

You see a lot of obvious fakes like Fake Ballmer and Not Kevin Rose. (I've even seen someone call himself Andy Beal, but that's another story)

I think there are too many "fake" someone out there already. Every 4th comment on TechCrunch is from some "fake" guy.

Identity theft is a completely different thing, but I think we people see so many "fake" ones the line between identity theft and parody becomes thinner.

Perhaps I should sign all my comments from now on with Real Dennis BjÃ¸rn Petersen or Is Dennis BjÃ¸rn Petersen.

Writing for major sites like ReadWriteWeb is always a great opportunity to get your name out.

You'll get to know a lot of people and make some valuable connections. The money will usually come afterwards.

It would be stupid to turn down an opportunity to write for a big site, just because it doesn't pay well.

That has happened to me a couple of times too. I think its just as important that you get the readers to return ;)

If you write a great post and it gets Stumbled or Digg'd you can expect quite an increase too and the good thing it, that post will get traffic not just one day but a month or too ;)

I consider myself a semi-experienced speaker. My weakest point is probably that I seldom practice my speeches in front of other people. I tend to improv instead. Another thing I would like to improve is not to think too far ahead. I'm working on that.

I didn't know twhirl was such a memory hog. I thought such a small program didn't need much, so I never looked into it.

50 Mb here with 20 replies, tweets and DMs. Perhaps it's Adobe Air that takes it up?

I think I'll stick with previous version of twhirl for now, I haven't really given FriendFeed a go yet, so there is no point in upgrading.

I've been a flocker for a year now and I most say I'm really impressed with the browser.

It's a lot more stable than FF2 and with Flock 2 built on FF3 it runs even faster.

The support is great too. If I tweet about a Flock problem, someone contacts me and helps me out.

The picture is a classic Danish national team football (soccer) fan called "Roligan" (opposite of Hooligan, "Ro" means calm).

Being a small country we specialize in niche products like design, dairy products and luxury items.

It's free to study no matter where, we are actually paid to study ;)

We do however also pay a lot of tax. The average is about 40-45% income tax and with 25% VAT, it isn't cheap to live in Denmark. 1 gallon of gas is about kr. 42 ($8.57) ;)

If anyone is going to Denmark, let me know I'll gladly help you out.

18 years in the making... The first reviews say it reminds you of a 87 mins. long episode. That's what I want. I'm always afraid when TV-shows are made into movies. Think X-Files, that movie was disappointing (there are even rumours of a sequel now). I'm glad they waited until they had something solid to make a movie over.

I think the games based on movies often are very created on very tight schedules. They have to be ready just around the movie premiere in order to get the extra promotion. Rushed projects usually doesn't turn out good. Often they fail to capture the same setting/mood as in the movies.

The FIFA 08 idea was/is great. Traffic is steadily increasing (it also helps to have a link on Wikipedia)

I use Google Analytics and the blog stats plugin from wordpress. It gives me a quick overlook over the most read posts, referrers, links and so forth.

I guess it all comes down to what you really want. I know I want to make a living out of blogging, but I'll wait until I'm earning as much as I do from my job.

If you are used to both incomes I think it'll be tough to only get half as much, on the other hand you might as well make more if you focus on CI. It would probably take a couple of months, but the content quality would improve and so on.

The good ol' entrepreneur dilemma: What happens if I quit my day job and become a pro-blogger?

The mini-game is from the Wii edition. It has a feature called Family Play, where you can play all kind of mini games, like table-football.

Amazon.com is charging $59.99 for FIFA 08 Xbox360/PS3 version.

In Denmark it will cost around $100, thats the standard price for new console games :-/

Broadband is still insanely priced in Denmark.

For a 4096/512 k/bit connection I pay about Â£30 ($70) a month. Luckily my company pays for my connection.

In some places you can get up to 20480/1024 kbit/s. Thats about Â£48 ($100) per month.

I've used ESET Nod32 antivirus for a long time. It doesn't use much memory and I only see it when/if it discovers a virus or similar threat ie. malware, trojan etc.

I can highly recommend it.

As a firewall I use Comodo Firewall. The recently launched version 3 now supports Vista as well. It's a free firewall and comes very recommended.

Flock is a great browser. I've used it for quite some time. It 's build on firefox and very stable.

Thank you for the update.

I still think it's a big lack that you have to convert PDFs. You can't have a ebook reader that doesn't support that without any conversion.

Of course if the conversion happened during the upload from PC to Kindle. That's no problem then.

I'm still a bit divided about paying for RSS-feeds. I know it's a service, but it feels wrong to pay for something that is free. I'm glad you told me about alternative with the built-in browser.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to try the Kindle yet. I live in Denmark and I don't think we support EVDO. I wrote this post purely based on the information I could find on various Kindle sites.

My site is also terribly slow, despite the few plugins.

My traffic doesn't justify a dedicated server yet, so I'll have to optimise what I can.

It's a tough choice to make sometimes. I do a lot of eco-friendly things, but my gadgets aren't that friendly unfortunately.

I really enjoyed the comparison between blog and house.

A lot of blog networks have really thin walls, which are easily replaced with another sheet of paper.

Many of the sites you refer to are in my feed reader, but they have 1500+ unread posts. I just never get around to reading them.

I prefer the more personal blogs by people with a cooler personality.
