look at arsenal, playing as a team, earning their goals, beautiful team play, brilliant passing, and look where they are...TOP OF THE TABLE....look at the differences in these 2 teams rosters....arsenal: young, evenly paid, unselfish, no superstars needed....man united: overpaid, selfish, plenty of superstars...and look, NOT EVEN at the top of the table

ronaldo's first and only ever goal came at the best time. but he is not the greatest player, he merely just had a great season. one great season cant define a player as the greatest player in the world. united got lucky, chelsea hits the bar 3 times (terry) and got drogba sent off. tevez is a fcuking ****** for what he did to provoke chelsea. if i was the referee, which i am not by standards, i would have either given 2 players red cards, 2 players yellow cards, or given nobody any cards; it it just unfair to give one team an advantage by sending another player off. i forgot who it was (either vidic or ferdinand), but they should have gotten a straight red for going studs up to joe cole's face in extra time. and the supposedly "best player in the world" missed a pk, which just made my day.

hey greece_fan...in football, a win is a win. no matter what, football is all about results. which is what greece did and portugal didnt do. i was proud greece won b/c they beat france, so for them to win, it meant something to me as a les bleus fan. portugal had their chances to win that final, but they couldnt get results, a simple own goal or pk for portugal, and everybody in the world would be hailing them as the best ever. greece was under rated and they earned their goals (im not saying no other team didnt either).

this is what happened to france in the 2006 world cup, they tied switzerland and there was a win/loss in the other game. and look where they got to - THE FINAL

france knew that this was a game to experiment without the cost of a loss. thats why they had the lineup with benzema, anelka, toulalan, abidal...now they know who can play what and if they can play against stronger teams such as holland/italy. in the upcoming games france will now play henry, evra, maybe sagna, viera. now the french will be stronger and deeper and they are the darkhorses in this tournament. everybody now thinks that france is over rated just because they drew against romania, but thats not the case.

france played a good game, holland just played better. france had far more chances than holland. including an obvious handling (it doesnt have to be on purpose) in the box. should have been 1-1 and ended such as. domenech shouldnt have taken out malouda (replaced by gomis - who has only played one game for france which was a friendly against ecuador) and instead put in nasri.
