Seriously cute town! Looks like an awesome trip. I drove up there a few years ago for my friend's wedding in October. It was the last weekend that the town was "open." Most of the restaurants and bars close down for the winter, and everyone either goes to the mainland to work or collects unemployment. Very strange! The restaurants were out of food and the bars were pouring very strong drinks to empty the last of their bottles.

I feel your frustration. The four or five times (way too many!) that I've need help from the police, they've been completely unhelpful, if not insulting and arrogant.

I had the pleasure of hearing Obama speak a few weeks ago in Wilmington, and it's true...he's a great speaker and inspiring. I felt tingly the entire time.

One of the best trips I ever had was to a bog in the NJ Pine Barrens. We traipsed butt-high in mud to get up close and personal with pitcher plants.
