I find it hilarious that anyone honestly thinks that Australia was the better team in 2006. Australia was so supremely lucky that they didn't find themselves down 2-0 before Materazzi was unjustly sent off. And if you look at Grosso being brought down in the area at the end of the game, you may notice that the Aussie made no contact with the ball but his arm made contact with Grosso's leg. They didnt say that australia were the better team, they were just sayin tht it took a bull**** decision from the ref to get them through that game. and haha if u seriously think that was a penalty back then...then spain should've had three in the first half of this game.

i dont mind the fact that the ref went over to get help with a decision from the linesman, im just annoyed that he gave a decision, then went over and asked, then changed it. Thats the problem and it shouldnt be right to do that.

this result wuldnt have happened if the ref hadnt taken back his red card given to Kolodin. I thought once a decision was made tht was it?
and the ball from sjneider never went out, shows how hopeless the officials are...
