You and I are completely on the same page (well, I guess I mean that literally and figuratively!) - wow! I was blown away by what you had to say and you have moved me to continue writing about this case as well. Here's what I agree most with you about --- the administration and the parents have a way to make this better --- act like adults, be a good role model for the daughter and all the students of Guilford High School, and apologize to Nate Fisher. To Anon - don't make this a witch hunt.

Re: 4 Ways to Really Honor our Veterans

Hi,

We lost touch with each other after Nate Fisher.... who by the way I have heard has been hired as a teacher at some lucky school.

This is a really nice post. Fortunately, I do not have a loved one overseas or in the military, but my heart goes out to all those who do. All veterans deserve our utmost gratitude and our government must show it by their actions.

Re: Eulogy for Wasted Youth

Thank-you for sharing this important information. Teen drinking is a frightening problem and is pervasive not only on college campuses but in high school as well. It seems these kids just don't get it - even when one of their own is affected.

Re: Remembering the Rain

That is a beautiful photo.
