Ok, first I can't see the pics, it says they are unavailable...darn I really want to see.

Second, I SO understand the car sickness, Nicholas gets sick all the time though and always throws up, I've found what works for him is letting him lay down in the backseat (still strapped in) and also keeping sprite or ginger ale on hand.

Hm, an sich ne gute Idee - vor allem für Leute, die Windows ohnehin aus Prinzip sofort nach dem Kauf runterschmeißen. Ist aber wohl eher für Firmen gedacht.
Für Privatpersonen fänd ichs nur richtig sinnvoll, wenn der PC ohne OS dann auch billiger wäre, aber das soll ja wohl nicht der Fall sein. Also wo soll da mein Vorteil sein, außer, dass ich mir ne halbe Stunde für die Formatierung der Festplatte nach dem Kauf spare? Ist noch nicht so ganz ausgegoren das Ganze...

I agree with the other posters. I think E-Harmony is just trying to appeal to a wider market. It is nice but it is just advertising. I didn't watch the Star Trek movie clip b/c I am waiting to see the movie tonight. I think IRR in movies is more of a positive thing than just a dating site commercial. Ads are just ways to hustle more money out of people.

Because you know of course that racism is "objective" as some black men here maintain, while colorism is "subjective" (yes, it's so subjective that black people can't tell light skin from dark skin, but we've managed to maintain colorism for how many decades). And the subjective can't be fought or fixed. What a nasty lie - the solution that some of these men here keep asking about is a simple one - it's called change - it's called growing up. But that's not going to happen, is it? Because colorism is a problem that mainly affects black women, so it's not a real problem, not like racism is a real problem because that is focused on black men. Black men want Black women to stay focused on racism and join black men in that fight, but black men have no intentions of sharing those gains with black women (except for a very few favored light skinned women). Yes, black women - ignore your own issues and fight my issues, and then I will ignore you and degrade you in favor of every other woman on planet earth! What, you don't think that's a good deal?!

Black women need to recognize and recognize fast - we are in this battle alone. So we had better get together and save ourselves. Trying to save black men is not only impossible and unnatural - it is also a joke, it is the opposite of what nature intended, and it won't work. You will only be dragged down with them, so wise up, move on and save yourselves. BW are worth the effort.

A mi me parece una putada que se cierren las tiendas de discos, y no creo que sea la piratería la principal causa, quizá sí las descargas de internet, pero abaratar los discos se sabe que es factible, de hecho a veces sale más barato comprar discos en EEUU que aquí.
Lo peor es la falta de interés que hay en las grandes superficies ( que ahora irremediablemente se hacen con todo el mercado)por contratar a gente que sepa de música para poder venderla.Es frustrante acudir a cualquiera de estos sitios...no tienen ni idea a no ser que busque lo último de Bisbal etc

I feel that mine is complete, I have a boy and a girl so it's just perfect, but I do sometimes wish for another baby. Hubby is done though he doesn't want anymore and honestly I don't know if my body could take another pregnancy, I've had two miscarriages and a high risk pregnancy with Nicholas, so why push it you know?

We saw 511 Pacific today, too. It was mobbed. Because the house is huge that was not a problem. Kept bumping into people though rounding corners in the labyrinth that is the floor with the bedrooms. What can I say, spectacular, excessive. We aren't buying any $6 million homes any time soon but it was great to see. Oh, loved the retractable glass window/walls all on the main living floor, the house was totally open to the air while we toured.

Mike, your article and most of these responses, are very sad. Aside from a few comments, it is clear that yoga is highly misunderstood.. by "fitness Professionals"! The exercises (poses) you see in yoga classes are just one aspect of yoga and unfortunately most of what people are exposed to (therefor creating this yoga association and misunderstanding). Yoga was never meant to prepare a person to burst into a 5-minute mile after a crushing hilly ride in the middle of a triathlon. Yoga is a lifestyle that helps an individual reach a higher state of conscious. The "poses" were origninally meant to be taught to an individual by his/her guru, to help that indiv abtain balance in their body (strengthen what's weak and lengthen what is tight). It is believed that a person will struggle with their meditation practice, if their body is ill and out of wack. So yes, a guru would not assign tree pose to someone who already has strong legs, focus and balance. However, a guru would have their work cut out for someone who is just trying to display the most power of anyone in their gym (reducing the control your ego has over you is a predominant part of the yoga practice). Perhaps you right on by taking a stab at yoga zealots who obviously have their own misunderstandings. However since yoga has a strong tradition and isn't going away, it's not a bad idea for any fitness professional to have a basic idea of its offerings. For example, breathing practice can help a person move in and out of the sympathetic vs parasympathetic nervous system at will. Our breath is the only part of the autonomic nervous system that we have control over, therefore yogis utilize it as a "way in" (mind-body connection).

Maybe part of the problem is that it only takes 200 hours of training to become a yoga teacher and clearly that's not enough. It's enough to lead an Asana class (what you think of as yoga) safely and provide a basis to move forward. But isn't that statement true for most disciplines?

Lets say you buy a used F150 for 9.7K. You drive it 12,000 miles a year, get 15 mpg (real world is probably lower), and gas averages $3.50 over the following 4 years (probably optimistic for next 4 years).

Thats:

9.7k + (12,000/15 * 3.5)*4 = $20,900

A Prius: buy for 21k, drive it 12,000 miles, get 45 mpg, gas averages $3.50 over 4 years.

21k + (12,000/45 * 3.5)*4 = $24,733

For about 4k, you will have burned 4 times less gas, you'll have AT-PZEV emissions, and when you resell it, it'll more than make up for the 4k difference. You'd probably come up much further ahead if gas is higher than $3.5.

Seems like a good deal to me. You could save a lot more money by getting a non-hybrid for around 10-12k, too.

I am wondering about the special election in the 5th CD. I am assuming that as long as Rod is in office he will still set the date/time/parameters of that? I had heard that the primary had been tentativey set for February 24th but that was before all this happened. Does anyone know if that was or is true? Though I guess in answer to my own question it can't actually be true as Rahm has not yet resigned .... Any information on this situation would be appreciated.

There was an article about Patti's job in the January 7 Sun Times:

It states that Gary Chico was the one who recommended Patti for the job. It also implies that they might have been trying to get J.B. Pritzker to give money to CCIL in exchange for some sort of consideration for the senate seat.

Hi Krissy, I often think of you and John and how things are going with you both. I`m sorry to hear that John has been going through so much lately. Shingles is dreadful I know as my daughter and hubby had it and suffered a lot of pain. Poor John has to deal with so many other things as well and it seems so unfair, Take care both of you and I pray that John will get over his pneumonias soon and enjoy a much healthier Summer.

Oh Krissy, you write about whatever you want to, not just the good things. I think journals can be very therapeutic for the writer and the reader wants to read the whole story, not just the lighter moments. Life just isn`t like that. Take care and I`m glad John`s doing well.

I lost my mucuous plug about a week or so before mine were born and with my first I went into labor at 36 weeks and they stopped the labor, they gave me that weird drug that makes you all shakey. But she was determined to come out and a few days later when I was 37 weeks along, she was born.

Good lucky, you're right, things are moving along and you won't have much longer until you can hold your precious girl in your arms :)

I believe it, I've had personal experiences myself and most of them were when I was a child and growing up.

Nicholas my 5 year old did something at our other base that really left us in shock. I was pregnant with him when my father in law passed away, he had NEVER met him....when Nicholas was 1 years old, my mother in law was visiting us. We were all in the living room and Nicholas started looking into the hallway and smiling, waving and saying "come here". We looked over and saw absolutely nothing, but he kept doing it and at one point, he was playing peekaboo with NOTHING that we could see.

We felt a little weird and didn't know what he was doing. The only way he knew his grandfather was from photos...when he told him there was nothing there, just like your son he got very upset and went to the refrigerator and grabbed the photo of grandpa and pointed to it and then pointed to the hallway.

To this day it gives me shivers to think about it.

So yes, to answer your question, I do believe that children can see ghosts or spirits or whatever we want to call them :)

Good luck with the car ride, I had to make one from Idaho to Oklahoma, 30 hours drive when my father in law passed away, I was 32 weeks pregnant and it was AWFUL. I lay in the back seat the whole way and felt sick to my stomach LOL

You know though, I was laughing because just like me, you notice the difference in each photo as the stomach gets bigger, but you also see your expression go from all smiley to "just hurry up and take the photo" LOL You can tell you're more uncomfortable as the time goes by :)

New house is great but the moving...UGH....we just got to this base last year July and within 8 months they were tearing down the house we were in and telling us to move again.

That is a LOT of money, I went to South Africa with hubby and the two kids back in May and it cost us $6000, but that took a lot of saving and not touching tax return money etc.

I agree with Stacia, a lot of people seem to think that being military means we're loaded LOL

vad i hela friden skall jag egentligen skriva? har skrivit om kommentaren ett x antal gånger. brukar sällan skriva "peppande" kommentarer, men i detta fall är det ju tommefan omöjligt. du är ju awesome, en röst som din kan ju folk endast drömma om. du är så galet kunnig och musikalisk. det vore grymt om du körde kings of leon - fans. den är bra du är bra, bra kombination liksom.

Att det har pratats en del kring "Idol Erik" är svårt att undgå. Han verkar ligga i topp hos flera. Jag ska vara ärlig och har inte riktigt fått grepp och fattat tycke för dig Erik. Du har inte krossat min tvskärm, ännu. Men idag har jag läst igenom alla Idolers bloggar samt kollat videoinlägg. Den som stack ut bäst och gav mig Good feeling är du Erik. Du känns naturlig och riktigt bra på sången i videobloggen.

Jag önskar att denna känslan även når min tvruta imorn..

jag tyckte faktiskt att du va grymm igår!! Jag har sett på varenda idol avsnitt och jag tycker du har utvecklts jättemycket, men du är ju fortfarande a working progress, så att säga. Men jag tyckte du gjorde jättebra ifrån dig igår. Du bjöd på dig själv och sjöng riktigt bra, tog alla kameror ;) Vad är det för tema den här veckan. Är det rock? Kom också på en sak, haha vrf du inte fick så många röster kan ju vara för att, det är ju mest ungdommar som röstar på dig. Och vi har ju aldrig pengar på mobilen xD haha aja skit samma.
