My house in Nashville is up the hill from that Starbucks. At 3:30 AM on Monday morning a homemade bomb was set off in front of a Starbucks three blocks from my apartment in New York. Why is the Starbucks bomber following me? I don't even drink coffee!

Hilarious. This damn gas thing is all I hear about and I don't even live in Nashville anymore. It's the Nashvillian way to dwell on a topic until you're blue in the face...you guys must be REALLY sick of it, especially if you have no gas!

I think the deal is that everyone is sitting home with nothing to do but talk about the gas shortage, because they don't have gas to put in their cars to go anywhere. At least, that's my take on it.
On the other hand, I shared a crosswalk with seven other people last night across Hillsboro which was sort of astonishing for Nashville, where no one walks anywhere. I'm enjoying the opportunity to cut out useless driving.
