A lot of bloggers have high writing skills and sure they are great journalists. But business bloggers can be called journalists aswell. I tend to think that those bloggers who just fill large quantities of information for SERP rankings, as not jounralists. But we all have differences in opinion. And your 5 points have merit, so they could well be true.

Andy

Re: My Favorite Stories Of 2007

Nice list of stories. I liked every one. But my personal favourite was when those buffalos in Africa charged the lions, to get there baby back that was being attacked by the lions. That sticks out at the top for me.

Re: Three Blind Managers

It was a really good read. I have read the article itself and i must admit it has some substance (evidence), in what you are saying. Although my social media marketing has weirdly brought me a lot of success. I spose im a unique case as it has worked on 4 out of my 5 sites. And on the other site well it was a total failure, something which a lot of webmasters have recorded for all there sites.

Regards Andrew

Re: Social Media Marketing Sucks

The title is definetely provocative and yes it is going to get a lot of attention and traffic. I feel that anything the community get involved in is only a good thing. And for the recognition of services thats another great objective. I have been posting thoughts on your community mybloglog for some time, i feel that you deserve this recognition. Your article is very good. If anything Adam Lasnik's comments do not emphasise what the page rank is all about. Page rank is run by google. But i have noticed something strange. A majority of sites with high PR's and given authority in SERPS by google, in fact run adsense adds. And the ones that don't are penalised. I think it shouldn't matter if you run yahoo ads or adsense adds, if you have a strong site it should rank well and have a good page rank from google.

Re: Penalty Confirmed – But I Don't Sell PageRank

Hey Andy. The traffic was good at first but then got very small. Its incosistent traffic which makes it hard to monitor the performances of your site. I think removing the blogrush widget is a good idea. But then there are others still recieving large amounts of traffic after six months of it. Its up to you mate.

Regards Andrew

Re: We’re a Slut

One of the funniest blog posts that i have read in a long time. The video makes it even more funnier. If anything they have formed a monopoly. All strong sites are going down in PR and heaps of weak ones are going up in PR. That shows how bad the PR system is. They have been discussing it on DP forums non-stop, and after 3000 replies, the inaccuracy is staggering, in which strong sites have decreased.

Google's attempt to make the web more inaccurate?

Regards Andy

Re: Don’t Just Teach Your Friends to Make Money Online. So i am trying alternatives. But im finding with bidvertiser some adds pay terrible in some niches, but in other niches they pay a lot better than adsense. Adsense is still the best, but there are good alternatives out there.
