I forgot to write that I was thinking to video.google.com - it shows videos using the Flash format, but it also let you download the video (in better resolution) in .avi and .mp4 format.
I published there my short Tweaking rendering parameters in Second Life video and I'm quite happy about it.

But what about publishing the videos on a different platform so the video can be downloaded (in better resolution also, maybe)?

I love Client menu’s Rendering options. While playing around with them I grabbed some strange video effects in a short movie here:

Hi Torley,
the italian SL community is growing up and recently some fellows asked about SL snapshots hosting. We gave a look to the Flickr terms of service, and it turns out that Second Life photos might not show up in public searches - that's the subject of a discussion here too:

I have a personal Flickr account and I really enjoy it, but I'm not going to use Flickr for my snapshots if they are going to not appear in public searches.
If I may ask, what do you think is the meaning of the Flickr behaviour about this?

I love the Client menu > Rendering > Types effects.
CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-[number from 0 to 9] rules!
I had a lot of fun while doing this short machinima, where I give a sample of the strange effects you can see tweaking Rendering settings:

Since Second Life Linux client doesnt'yet support native video recording (nor playing), I had to manage to make it with third-party (open source though) apps. Torley, please help Linux users get video support!

In these hours, many SL people are complaining, often without even knowing what they are talking about. It looks like Armageddon if you listen to them. They ask for jails, handcuffs, encryption and DRMs (you know, it's a so-good-working approach... :) against Copybot and its developers.
I would be interested in insightful comments and analysis of CopyBot meaning and consequences. It would be great if you -baba and other lsl devs- would collect some interesting articles about it in order to give people some clue.
Or maybe you're already doing that?
Please let us know if you're going to do something similar - and where you are going to publish the links to these articles.
