The Dirty Harry Ultimate Collectors Edition.
Oh yeah, I'll be purchasing this. I had all of the collector's club editions on VHS.

@ Robert - Good one.
This has been talked about for years...well before the recent slate of high digit sequels. I'd see it - I really like the character Axel Foley. :-)

Great cast with a questionable director. Hope it turns out well.

Very sad. Grew up watching he and Tim, etc do just about anything to make people laugh.

in New series on USA: “In Plain Sight” on Pop Critics
We were turned off by the original previews where she agrees to help someone get a boob job, has casual sex on a futon, and moans sexually in public.
The more recent previews have toned down all the raunchy stuff and stressed the job rather than her personal life.
Still don't know if we want to wade through the crap to see the stories...

in The Friday Question - Who have you met? on Pop Critics
I could name a lot of athletes from professional sports, many Arizona celebrities or musicians, but I'll stick with the most famous person I've ever met.
Hugh Downs.
Hands down one of the nicest people I'll ever meet. Down-to-earth and easy to talk with. Great experience(s).

in The Friday Question: Shows that flopped on Pop Critics
The Michael Richards Show - if anyone could make a show work after Seinfeld I thought it would be Richards. It didn't work.
Surface - as much as my wife and I wanted this to be a good series...it just wasn't.
Reunion - good idea + great format + poor ratings = gets the axe without wrapping up loose ends.

in Blockbuster disappointments? on Pop Critics
Don't get me wrong - I love the internet and THIS site, but I do long for the days when I was a kid.
Back then you might be aware of who was in a movie and who was directing it, but that was about it.
My wife and I steer clear of most teasers and trailers, especially for movies we want to see/own. We have just seen too many in the past that either showed the majority of the best scenes or revealed plot spoilers (National Treasure, The Interpreter, etc).
Also - reviews...shmeviews...we don't see or skip anything based on reviews. I liked Siskel & Ebert years ago but they often revealed too much also. I want to see the movie in the theater without knowing every detail, thank you. :)
