It boils down to the development structure. If the lender withdrew they would just cap the project and walk away. Since the developer probibly does not have a lot of equity at stake it makes sense for them to keep working.

The developer is probibly working on a combination of fee basis, small equity stake and some sort of promote on the back end. The Equity partner (REEF) and the lender have the most to loose.

I suspect it does not make a lot of sense for the lender to stop funding. Once the asset is complete if they have to foreclose they can at least auction it...but a half finished building is a not useable. And REEF's investment managers have probibly already been fired so....whats the dif in loosing a couple more $MM.

McCann created the diorama for the offline campaign. AKQA concepted, shot, and build the entire site. McCann contributed 3 vides that lived as additional content in the site. That is all.

JamesF Dude you don't know what you're talking about. McCann came up with the campaign. Had the diorama shot. Had the music composed. Came up with the whole idea (there is an idea in there, its not just a technique). What AKQA did was be a good production company and ported that over to a microsite. Deal.

AKQA did all the digital work for Halo. So the site and the fly-though that this rips off from is AKQA.

JamesF Nope. McCann had the diorama created for their campaign. Also the music, etc.

in the ch!cktionary - I'm amazed at how much this still bothers me. on The Chicktionary
I'm a guy who had the same thing happen to me. I don't know any men out there who have come forward with this, and unfortunately, men are branded as the criminals in this society and women as the victims. She left me--in the midst of my best friend who had just died (at age 30), my family situation being totally messed up, not having a career or job that I wanted or knew how to manage--and shacked up with some guy without telling me that she was over me. She was my rock, too, and when it crumbled I crumbled with it. Now, as far as I am aware, she's married to the tool she essentially cheated on me with.

The sad part here is that it wasn't just Fox taking Clark's remarks out of context (which we expect), but also CNN and MSNBC.

The "Hype vs. Facts" war in the media was waged a while back - and "Hype" won.

This period in time for "jounalists" will not be judged kindly in the future.

I agree with you. One thing is to read recommendations or ratings from users who you have never met and whose taste could differ a lot from yours, but to get a recommendation from someone you know, it is a totally different story. In my opinion, that is the key behind this concept, and I guess it's going to become more and more used in the future.

Jasonp107 That's true - I take recommendations from people I know way more
seriously than random reviews on Amazon. The busier the rate & review
space gets, the more it's going to matter who you know.
