This is HUGE news:

As many of you are aware - many of the VMS manufacturers are behind the times when it comes to upgrading compatibility with the latest hardware, so a server on dell.com isn't always compatible although it should be! Even if they claim any COTS you should definitely read the fine print!

For a server manufacturer to certify and understand VIDEO data is great news and more people should look to these specialized products to ensure we keep money in the security world.

I see the storage and server hardware being the most important aspect of the install for an integrator as it represents 1/3 to 1/2 the gear in an install. With IT data the storage requirement grows annually 35% and with megapixel technology on the door step control of this piece of the system is paramount.

I don't know about you, but I'm not happy with the software only sale I've already experienced and I'm sure you will to unless you adapt one of these technologies.

Install a standard Dell server with Dell storage and see if the IT department comes back to you when they need to upgrade their storage for 10,000 to 100,000 K.

I was molested as a boy, and I have to tell you honestly... It is not the end of the world. I did survive it and I don't normally think about it except for this whole 24 years in the basement story.

It was pretty gross, only at the time I didn't know that it was gross, just different, which is the problem. The adult is more aware than the child.

It is clearly aberrational behavior for an adult and like Glasgow says when dealing with this issue it must be an unequivocal NO WAY.

The market is very disorganized but some of the newer brokers like Tullett seem to be bringing some more standardization to the process. Still very difficult to execute, especially with managers wanting to reset HWMs, but trades do go through.

Think people........the IAAF is only concerned about revenues. If we are not lining foreigner's pockets with cash they will actual say what they are thinking "ignorant and undisciplined Jamaicans"

We should indeed stop being "ignorant and undisciplined Jamaicans" and have a system of controls where no individual becomes bigger than their office and is held accountable through a system of appeals that ends with the Minister who has the Sport portfolio. If MVP feel they have been wronged by JAAA then they appeal.

Issues of whom and who are friends and transparency are another story but the minister is an elected official so the people have some say there........

RIM has no worries. As it has been mentioned, this market prediction is only based on consumer sales and not enterprise sales. Also, Apple's track record, IMO, in engaging the corporate business for its products has been shotty at best. I also think that until enterprise developers get 100% free reign on building 3rd party apps for the iPhone with out Apples blessing such as RIM pretty much gives you, RIM will continue to rule the roost.

Amigos que aman Apples, todo ha cambiado en Peru, me acuerdo mucho las apples eran carisimas en Lima, Quien usaba una mac antes? Bueno solo una buena imprenta de alta calidad y alguien que tenia mucho dinero. Pero les cuento que hasta ahora apple es caro, pero claro es mas caro en otros lugares desde luego.

Yo trabaje hace muchos años atras en el Diario el Comercio, y me di con la sorpresa que para entrar a trabajar tenia que saber de mac. Y bueno aprendi mac y ingrese a trabajar.

Otra sorpresa que me di, fue que todas las agencias serias de publicidad usaban Apple, osea era un circulo de calidad, y en realidad es calidad hasta ahora.

Cuando renuncie de El Comercio, viaje mucho, y decidi con mi amigo vender apple. Y bueno hemos vendido muchas maquinas a muchos amigos y clientes, que se han sentido bien servidos hasta el dia de hoy.

Entonces en resumen ahora apple es mas popular en Peru, debido que ahora puedes instalarle windows y otros sistemas operativos aparte de su propio sistema operativo Leopardo.

Pero muchos se preguntan para que comprar una mac si vas a utilizar windows. Muchos lo dicen, pues aqui la respuesta de un usuario.
Me compro una mac y le pongo windows, porque soy diseñador y trabajo con un programador en windows. Y todo lo relacionado a diseño, lo trabajo en mac como fotografias, diseño y otras cosas, y programacion en Java, PHP, lo hago en windows. Entonces me conviene comprarme una mac desde luego, no crees?

Many people might actually think it's a joke if you say that kind of thing on your facebook or tweeter, and I agree with "Name" (next time put an actual name :P), most cell phones now adays have GPS built in them, so the police can eaily track down your phone in a matter of seconds if you do call for help and your phone dies... Don't worry people, 911 operators really arent stupid, and yea, going on the web takes more battery power then text or a call, since you gotta wait for the page to even load, takes longer then text, therefor, it uses more battey. Well, In my opinion, Facebook and Tweeter aint the best place to post a help message since now adays most teens like to mess around, so a 12 year-old girl posting that she needs help, I would personally try to contact anyone in that case, but other people might think its a joke... Well, im done -_- Peace all
