in Bigger, longer & uncut: The second Microsoft Seinfeld ad on VentureBeat
funny, but who airs commercials that are 4:30?

MG Siegler
they'll cut it down for airing to either 30 seconds or a minute - that'll be interesting to see, could really change it entirely.

in Help me fill in the blanks: iPhone platform versus Facebook platform on Futuristic Play by @Andrew_Chen
Pricing should be broken out into developer cost vs. user cost, because a dev has to spend $99 for access to the app store. Other possible breakdowns
Coding language:
Facebook = anything like PHP/Ruby/Python/ASP/JSP
iPhone = Cocoa
Extra hardware:
Facebook = none
iPhone = Intel-based Mac running 10.5 Leopard (probably good to have an iPhone too)
Market Size:
Facebook = 100 million users
iPhone = 5 million activated phone (rough guess)

in More detailed analysis of social network value on Techcrunch on Futuristic Play by @Andrew_ChenI'm not sure why international traffic always gets a negative note. Don't most brands sell internationally and want their brand awareness to increase?

in Facebook’s platform issues: Less developer activity, slower app growth on VentureBeat
OpenSocial may be a pipe dream... Users are uniquely defined by the combination of their environment domain and a user ID specific to that domain, which means that 99% of OpenSocial apps will consider you to be a different user based on each domain installed.

in Facebook Quintuples Application Email Limit on AllFacebook
This is bad and will get abused quick. IMHO, Facebook is just trying to show value in app users (yet their platform is rapidly devaluing of web development).
