in image previews on reddit on The reddit blog
Hi, how does reddit collect the thumbnail for an entry? (.. or what would a webmaster have to do to enable reddit to find thumbnails on his site)

alexis Nothing too fancy, just looks for the biggest, most square-like image. We don't presently have something to enable webmasters to point it to the right thumbnail, but I'd like to see this feature soon.

I use Nozbe which supports 'time tagging'. What you're describind in your post is very similar to the GTD methodology, have you looked into it? Sounds like something you'd like :-)

in eNom vs. RegisterFly on Life is grand
Good luck. I've had lots of problems with RegisterFly myself - when I had problems with one of my domains they took down all my domians and redirected them to spam-pages. Just sick, read about it here:

in Will Pligg Be the End of Digg? on Marketing Pilgrim
Andy Beard: It's quite possible to get on the Digg frontpage without having a network on Digg. I did it twice, this story:
http://www.infocider.com/blogs/index.php/progra...
(any story about Piratebay will get Dugg ;-))

and this:
http://www.43min.com/archive/view/en/48-Suits-t...

oh, and here are the Digg pages btw;
http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Piratebay_strikes...
http://www.digg.com/videos/comedy/What_if_every...

So it is possible. But don't expect 1 in 5 to hit, or even 1 in 10.

When it comes to the subject of the original blogpost I agree completely with the comments from Lyndon. He stated it better than I ever could :-)
