in Does Rolex make a Harley Davidson model? on Harley Accessories Blog
ha ha ha, half the HD fans on here ride sporsters, are you sure you should be whipping your loyal soldiers, have you forgotten about your common enemy (sportbikes)?

in any case:
1) I'm surprised that anyone who owns a HD can even thing about buying a 6,000 watch, between the payments on your "bike" and the weekly maintenance costs I would think even the CEO of wal-mart would be tapped out.
2) I would think that Rolex would want nothing to do with the HD logo, primarily because they stand for opposite things (rolex: superior quality at a superior price, HD: Inferior quality at a superior price). Obviously you play easily into this type of marketing so it's no surprise you want a rolex. Second, everything with that HD logo on it seems to be in constant need for maintenance and it would be hard for rolex to lower it's quality to a point worthy of the HD logo.
3) If such a watch defies my logic and exists one of the other posters was right, watches are dead, another victim of the cell phone. Obviously you have no problem with outdated and socially un-acceptable products because your a HD owner so this probably won't be a problem for you.

If I were you I'd spend that money on a CBR!

I remember enjoying this the few times I saw it on late-night TV. But after seeing the trailer and realizing that Christine Taylor is in it, I wonder if this is truly the Ben Stiller-biopic I've been waiting for!

there are two places in the big ten i've been hesitant to visit, that is the horseshoe and the big(shit)house. i fear going to ohio because i'd probably get my ass rolled after shooting it off so often (thats my dose of respect to Ohio) and ive avoided Michigan Stadium because i've heard its hell to endure such an antiquated stadium. thanks for the overview, it was awesome and fun

i wont assume that you've never been to beaver stadium, but i've been to both, and camp randall can't hold a candle to the atmosphere at penn state

in Toughest Venues: #3 Camp Randall Stadium | NittanyWhiteOut on NittanyWhiteOut
i was out in 02 (i believe) and this by far, is one of my favorite venues. one of the best parts of the trip was being able to get into camp randle to walk the track and watch the band practice (those goose-steppin fools looked great) the aura speaks for itself, and as admin said the students are one hell of a nuisance, the fraternities are right by the stadium which lends to a hellacious problem of drunken people. my day starts with some stogie chewin whig telling us how we've got no chance.(after the game he attempts to kiss our ass to which i tell him that "regardless, he's an asshole, we're trying to enjoy our victory". then on the way i make a 24-17 prediction that almost gets my ass whalloped, and then a subsequent comment about losing to hawaii does the likes. everyone tried to be nice, but came off as contrived. and, one of the better practices i noticed was either a)dispersing psu fans among the rest to keep from gathering, and b) placing them in the top corner of the upper deck on the student side. great venue, definately a difficult place to be if your an opponent

i dont know much about either michigan or kinnick stadium (and maybe it has to do with W-L records) but i think i would be more intimidated by going to Kinnick than mich. stadium, and am surprised by placing kinnick higher than michigan stadium. from what i've heard ann arbor (is a whore) the field is dug down and the stadium doesn't hold noise very well. then again this isnt my forum, so what i say doesn't matter...haha

i agree about the stadium being an eyesore, however unfortunately many feel the same way about beaver stadium (that its a cumbersome piece of metal among cows). the fans seemed to be punked out, like that dork that tries to be cool, and although im prone to shooting my mouth off (almost regularly when it comes to football) they seemed easy to tame when you know your facts. OSU fans are just straight up assholes, so its hard to imagine anyone being worse. haha. cheers

I also was out to E. Lansing in '05. First off i loved how the parking was intertwined with the campus, and the campus as well as downtown were within a stone's throw. If you get a chance to go downtown go to a hoagie joint that is something like "jersey submarines" and boasts 'the boss'... one of the best hoagies ive ever had (and they cut it into 4 samich sized pieces, so a family could easily eat only one with a bag of chips) The fans seemed okay at times, but loved to heckle PS about the basketball team (to which i responded, "um, we're Penn State, basketball only exists because it fills the space between football seasons" and when confronted by a gaggle of hecklers, i simply held up 5 fingers and said "look, its your wins AND your losses" It shuts them up quick because they know its true. It was cold as a bastard, and i had a good jag of octoberfest and jim beam going, so the walk to was fuzzy and i actually didnt remember seeing certain landmarks on the way in, when we walked to the car, but the spartan statue was AWESOME. The crowd atmosphere is amazing, loud and raucous, the fans are very gracious inside (i snuggled upto a MILF when i started to shiver, how nice of her). I think the best part is that we won our big ten championship there, and every State fan stayed for a half hour after everyone was gone to celebrate.

Don't forget the worlds largest (?) drum, Breakfast Club (boy was I naive about that one), and probably the most underrated advantage is the way the wind whips through their small stadium, thats a HUGE factor. When i was out in '06 the winds were 30 mph+ and no one could get a pass to hit its target. The fans are awesome, very welcoming. I'm not really sure where the stadium is in relation to the campus, but it was a half-hour walk from where we were parked, quite the buzzkill.

I made it out to Evanston in 2003, my twenty-first birthday. It was cold, snowing, the overnight parking was a 30 minute walk from the stadium (right next to the natatorium and coincidentally the lake), the only usable shitter was in the medical center and worst of all I was with pops and some elders of mine so i was sober. I really dug the lowered in field, that was the first time I had seen that and it struck me as particularly neat. The wildcat fans were able to spread out over on their side (3/4 of the stadium) while it seemed like the majority of the fans (penn state) were thrown into a corner like a fat girl throwing 10 lbs of potatoes in a 5 lbs sack. The atmosphere was for the most part drab, but everyone that was in or around the over night lot were very kind and enjoyable, state lost and the students were assholes, which prompted me to return "you got one out of six years, anyone can beat us when we suck" and subsequently almost got my ass beat.

in How much does your Harley weigh? on Harley Accessories Blog
yeah, my bike weighs about half what yours does, any time you want to got to the track let me know and I'll show you why jap sport is better than HD.

Look at a more important figure, out of that 850lbs, you get what 100 h.p. ... maybe, and in my 400lbs, I've got oh 175!

hmmmm.... almost twice the power and less than half the weight, I can't see why anyone would want that!

oh, and if we end up in the grill of a semi, your 850 isn't gonna do any better than my 400.

I don't know why you guys even try any more!

(I can only get about 90 in first ... btw)

I live in Vegas, and the most frustrating thing is that the HOA where my home is located does not allow satellite dishes ... thus no chance of Setanta or Gol tv. However, as 'the scout' mentioned, Crown & Anchor is the best place for football in this town. It's open 24/7 and they are always showing whatever matches are on live.
