I'd care more about how they do if the album I uploaded to SNOCRAP (Imeem's partner company) made me a plug nickel in sales. As it is technical support is finding it tough to type with where their thumbs are.
It is an excellent, well-contributed-to service with a very big content base. But you're right, they do have some problems. I look at their 336x280 ads and wonder if that's the extent of their monetization aside from a grasp at eBay. I've never clicked one of their crappy "help th3 skat0r" ads or found anything even remotely tailored to my interests. It's a shame somehow AdSense isn't making better sense of my music list and serving ads that would help imeem out.
I haven't had many problems with Google, except that I can't pay down my AdWords budget because they don't take debit cards. It's pretty frustrating. I'm not trying to pay with pennies, I'm trying to pay with a card. Maybe if I email them enough something will happen.
