in Stewart Brand on Apocalypse, Environment and Hacking It Up on The Poverty Jet Set
stewart brand is a totally interesting dude. i like that he doesn't freak out about being wrong, or stick with an idea that might be wrong just to save face. there is a lesson there...
he has a good book called 'how buildings learn' that has some solid observations about how cities tend to adapt in spite of designers and planners... word.

in It is Fine! EVERYTHING IS FINE! on The Poverty Jet Set
so, after the show, we were walking by the egyptian, and they were still trying to sell tickets for the crispin glover movie, so we decided to see it. it was super intense, and weird, and shocking, but really interesting to think about after hearing the q&a afterwards... it makes a lot of sense, really.
and then it took an hour to get back to the racquet club. boo to super late night movies...
