I don't know that sucks is correct, how about inconsistent? I've been online for the past seven hours and my reader just picked up this post along with 19 others. Sometimes they're timely, sometimes they're not.

Robert, Dan Pink's Whole New Mind is a book all about how things have changed and why. The new MBA is the MFA - as our values change, so does our need for more right brain/left brain balance. I suspect those are the qualities that set David Heinemeier Hansson or Blake Ross or Mena Trott or Matt Mullenweg or Kevin Burton apart from most. Yes?

Brilliant - had to do a bit of digging but it reminded me of an engagement quite awhile back - with a company called SRD, since acquired by IBM. Their speciality was identity resolution and thier space was Las Vegas and the gaming industry. Their engine was called NORA - stood for Non-Obvious Relationship Awareness. Lots of can't talk about stuff but Mark is on the right track. Hope he does it.

Connexion died because it wasn't profitable. The tech community is not broad enough to keep the product operating in the black. Today, no airline, expect those that are hiding behing bankruptcy, can afford to underwrite money losers. Several years ago, a colleague spent the better part of 18 months pushing an initiative dubbed "Aircraft Automation". (lot's of no brainer applications integrated for the inflight environment). All he has to show for it today is some classy power point slides. Sad, but true. It's all about money.

Outlook integration with my smart phone is a must. So far, only Outlook does that. I don't have a preference one way or another but... and it's a big one....when I troll through my contacts, all 429 of them, I only know of 6 that have GMail addresses. Now, I'm sure more have gmail than I've discovered but 6 or 429. Maybe I should start dolling out gmail invites or take the Plaxo plunge and get updates.

Wow, don't know what to say. I could slam the French but won't. I remember a line (probably have it wrong) from the movie Little Big Man - my heart has a hole in it. Just how does one comfort someone that's been so clearly sabotaged?
