Nice article, I completely agree to the point that HT has done it outta shear desperation. 1600 per user for DM is ridiculous.

When it launched, i had seen the site and sent some rude comments to that Fatwa guy, i didnt know that the image names are identical to facebook.

I read HT everyday, somehow missed it today... but according to me, HT internet content writers are foolish.

Few days back I saw an article about how 2nd life is helping a peon in delhi to interact with strangers as he cant speak or write English.
Last week I saw an article abu how facebook Beacon project is sending spam to the news feed of some boy AGAIN IN DELHI.

absolute shit man.

I hate the fact that I still read HT every morning :(

It still work properly... Flickr should have such tool on their site itself. I am happy using my slide.com with better customization options. I somehow like the Flickr slideshow interface but I have no option but to use slide.com as of now.

Theres a bug in the sign up process itself. "Reference Error:Ajax not defined"

also, 'Lets start this thing' is disabled on the sign up form!!!
Are we challenging the principles of usability?

The Pro account doesnt make sense to me until Zooomr introduces a bulk upload feature whereby a user can do a multiple upload. for exp. Java Uploader.

Creating a community of thinkers, strategist, developers would have been a better thing to do rather than hiring 1 person to do so...

My advice to Yahoo: Buy bebo, if u have tried it in past, try again, Make an offer they can't refuse.

Thats the only way to complete with facebook and linkedin. Building one more social networking site is a very bad idea with so many floating around already.
