The best exhibit I've been able to see there (my fourth). I would even go a second time. The art was unparalleled and you'll see true masterpieces. When else will you have a chance to see The Thinker sculpture? :) I can't rave enough about how much I loved it. Recommendation: Go when they have a tour so you get the full history and details of the pieces.

Re: Fan Fair Bingo: When You’re Done Counting Tube Tops (CMApocalypse 2008) | Nashvillest

Oh. It's a place along Old Natchez Trace past Temple Road. I run out there a lot. Take Hillsboro north from Franklin, left onto Moran (you'll pass Alan Jackson's), then left onto Old Natchez when it dead ends. Past Temple, the road runs along the water and you'll see the tree on the left.

Re: Abandoned Alligators: A Different Kind Of Homeless | Nashvillest

Sounds like Nashville has the same problem with alligators and the homeless. One way ticket out of town.

Re: Ask Mr. Tim: Don’t Breathe Unless You Have To | Nashvillest

Okay but how do they measure the stuff in the air? It's no Indiana State Fair, but it's still a nice little showing of Williamson County! It's not all Audis, BMWs, and wanna-be indie kids who spend all their time at Starbucks.

Re: Adventures In Kentucky: Mammoth Cave [Field Trips] | Nashvillest

I did the Grand Avenue Tour in April. It was pretty cool, but does take about 4 hours. It wasn't that difficult to hike either as the paths are very clear. Plus, there are two bathrooms in the cave which is a little odd. In addition, halfway through, you can stop to sit at picnic tables, use the bathroom, and buy concessions. Something about all those lights, tables, and poured concrete was really disappointing in a cave.

However, the cave itself was pretty cool and you learn some great history about the slave(s) who originally went exploring, how they served as tour guides and learned to write, the young men who helped make smoother paths by carrying in rocks, and so on. It may move a little slow for some people, but overall was a great caving experience!

Re: The Only Way To Make This Gas Thing Funny Is A Good Dose Of Hitler

Too bad Williamson County is out of gas now too.

Re: Fall Favorites In Nashville?

Pumpkin Fest in Franklin!!!
