Harry is right after you retrived your voicemail, the red dot will disappear. Untill yo recive a new voicemail of reboot your phone. Red dot has something to do with not being on At&t network. It will be come on everytime you reboot your phone. once you leave and retrive your mess. it will stay of till you reboot again. Hope this help.
