Being a Christian is not about being religious it is about having a personal relationship with Christ. I rather live my life as if there is a God and find out when I die that there wasn't, than live as there is no God and find out there is One.

Re: I lost my faith in Bible college - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

2 Timothy 3
Godlessness in the Last Days
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Re: I lost my faith in Bible college - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Astreja Thank you for not being rude and vulgar to get your point accross. I was just curious to see what ex-Christians could say and at what point they walked away from God and stopped believing. That's all. If you all want to believe that way that is perfectly fine. Or do you think it just happened by chance. Take for instance; The human body, it is so complex, where if something is not working then something else works harder to compensate. The eye and its functions so far there is no camera that comes close to what an eye is able to do. Just because you choose to deny the existence of God it doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Lets say for intance that you choose not to believe gravity exist because you can't see it and you throw yourself out of a second floor window, what do you think is going to happen?

Re: I lost my faith in Bible college - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Psalm 14:1
The fool has said in his heart "there is no God"

What else can I say, It was interesting to chat with you all,
thank you for your time.

Re: I lost my faith in Bible college - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

boomslang; I guess you still don't know what faith is, as the Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen..verse 3 "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." Any way, you probably will not understand this and will reply by trying to point out how stupid it is to believe this way. In regards to the Bible historical facts, check this website http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/8449/two...

Re: I lost my faith in Bible college - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

Astreja said...
Hear, hear! (applauds) I'm put in mind of the famous "Hope is the denial of reality" quotion from Raistlin Majere.

"Raistlin Majere (326 - 356 AC) is a fictional character from the Dragonlance series of books. He was the most powerful magic-user on Krynn. Raistlin was the twin brother of Caramon Majere, another Hero of the Lance."

This explains a lot! wow I am impressed.
anyways, Boomslang, since you definetely don't believe in creation is it correct to assume ( and I know that you can not ASS.U.ME)you probably believe the "Theory of evolution" right? Why is it easy for people to accept this "theory" when there are so many things it can not explain? or the "Big Bang theory" common! can you really believe that. Men kind have been trying to deny God at all costs and come up with anything to prove that God doesn't exist. I am open minded and read all kinds of materials even come to websites like this one to see if there is anything that can make me change my mind about God but so far...nothing.
You all remind me of a bunch of spoiled little brats. Unitl he goes to court/give a confession/find DNA/trace evidence that states that he is guilty everyone should not be so eager to judge. Blake was born while he was seperated from his wife. The first woman the mother of his first child was sleeping with another man (sean kemp) while still with bobby cutts (that is why he broke the door down). So what does that say about her?Bobby Cutts and his wife Kelly has been seperated for a few years and was not living together when Jesse got preganant with their second child. Also everyone is an adult and everyone should have been acting like mature adults instead of teenagers and all should have been taking preventive actions not to birth children out of wedlock as well as prevent std since it appears no one was faithful to anyone and everyone had multiple partners. I went and bought myself 3 (beige, grey, brown pinstripe)and when I tried combining it with some tops I had it made me look like I had no waist or it just didn't look that chic.

In case you are on the lookout for more tops, here's what I've noticed:
1.get tops or blazers which cinch in at the waist and then flair out just a tiny bit.
2.get tops which just end at the wasit. no long tops.
3.belts help alot to change the look or make it look like you have more of an hourglass figure
4. wear it with a tucked in tank. that's the fool proof way to go.

Re: http://withlovegabrielle.blogspot.com/2009/06/play-time.html

good looking bf and he dresses nice.:D You 2 look so good together.

Re: http://withlovegabrielle.blogspot.com/2009/05/airport.html

I'm going on a long trip to Europe in July.:)
You've made me rethink wearing jeans lol. I wish I could see what that looks like because I can't imagine it. Well anyway, you shouldn't be. I have a hard time with organizing and discipline too(understatement of the century!), but one thing I am realizing is you have to keep trying. Bummer, I know. Couldn't there be a finish line of some sort? Oh yeah, death. So, at least your not dead yet!

Re: http://mikalatos.blogspot.com/2009/05/mystery.html

you funny. thanks for the adding some more smiles in my day. too bad your minions couldn't find an internet Indiana Jones adventure of some sort. well, i've got noting left to say.

Re: http://mikalatos.blogspot.com/2009/05/merry-christmas-yay-more-books.html

Oooh, new book suggestion. Hey Matt. I found your blog by a comment you left on the Latvalas blog. I mean, I've been following you for years, I just finally decided to come clean. Seriously though, I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night last summer and dug it. Yes, dug... it. Joe is a fan or Sherlock Holmes which, as you probably already know, the title comes from. Anyway, just thought I'd drop a note. I like your sleep poem. Please tell Krista I said I still think she's the bizzomb. Check me, but don't wreck me at doviegrace.blogspot.com, where you'll find my email as well.
...and I'm outtie 5000,
Gigi
