There's a huge amount of cut-aways in that little clip, as well as using poles and such for blocking. To my eye, that looks like it's not terribly practical.

I think it looks pretty useful myself, and you could always guy a "reversed" version so that the plugs are facing downwards (if you're afraid of dust).

That might be useful for filming at night, if the lights are strong enough.

This sounds like an interesting idea, though I'm a bad enough drummer that I won't buy one. But it makes me wonder how long it will be before someone releases an MP3 player that's also a music studio. Now that would be cool.

I have a Saitek, and it's perfectly bright for me. There is a level switch on it. Maybe this new model doesn't have one.

So, I assume that the remote module that plugs into the docking port has a pass-through port of its own? Otherwise it kind of defeats that whole "keep your iPod docked" scenario.

I've ot one of those; it's basically a squeezebulb, but the tip is so narrow that the air comes out nearly as strong as compressed air. It cleaned the CCD sensor on my Nikon with one blast, removing some interfering dust.

It's also a great way to confound and/or annoy cats.

I've got one of the "always-on" types, and they're pretty cool. If this one had a way to switch colors, or perhaps even had timed rotating colors...geez, how about video patterns, skins...okay, I'm shutting up now.

I too am at a loss. Games, maybe? You could leave one cursor on some kind of "recharge" or "reload" button, while the other cursor blasted aliens.

For remote training or monitoring...the remote PC could have an idependent cursor so you could watch what the other PC was clicking on, while you played Solitaire. Hm, another game use. Also, I don't see how that would work, really.

They missed a huge opportunity by not making it silver and calling it a CyberMat.

Damn, I want one of these. But I can't find a price anywhere. Cheap enough, it would be great to calibrate a telescope.
